This miracle has been in our kitchen for almost half a year, previously we had a regular sandwich maker. A small piece of pork or chicken filet could be cooked, but not much else. We decided to buy a multifunctional grill and settled on this model. Lots of automatic programs, 5 degrees of doneness with manual control. For steaks, I don't prepare the meat beforehand, just need to salt and pepper it to taste. At the medium level of doneness, a ribeye steak turns out juicy, and the fat strips are almost unnoticeable. Sausages turn out delicious, and the fish is not overcooked and is juicy (especially salmon or trout). Fat and marinade drain into a large tray during cooking, which is easy to remove. The plates are also removable and easy to wash, even in the dishwasher. It cooks meat of any thickness, and there's no need to manually adjust the height of the top plate. The Tefal OptiGrill+ GC 706D double-sided contact grill is a true multifunctional food processor that can fry almost all products, doing it better than many analogues. At first glance at the device, the unusual location of the electronic control panel, located on the flat handle, immediately catches the eye. Compared to the traditional panel on the front surface of the case, this gives an advantage not only in the comfort of settings, but also in additional space: the absence of adjustment elements on the facade made it possible to place a long tray in front to collect dripping juice and fat, from which nothing will spill on the table. The model is equipped with a powerful 1800 W heating system, supplemented by 2 removable contact plates with relief protrusions and a slope, which simultaneously serve as guides for draining excess liquid released during cooking. The total area of the grill working surface is 600 cm2 and is determined by the size of the removable non-stick plates made of cast aluminum - 20x30 cm. The device is not designed to rotate the lid at an angle of 180° and operates only in contact mode.

The device is also equipped with 6 automatic cooking programs, which always provide consistently excellent results. Among the automatic assistants of the electronic chef, we have the following programs: cooking burger patties, cooking poultry, red meat, fish, sausages and crispy hot sandwiches.
