Registrars buy to protect themselves from liability for controversial traffic accidents, and rightly so. There is no better evidence than a quality video recording. But most DVRs record only what is happening in front of the car, partially capturing the adjacent lane and shoulder. But a considerable part of the incidents occur from behind, and a standard inexpensive registrar in this case can do little to help. That is why I bought this dual channel DVR and now I have a complete picture of what is happening around my car. Yes, it's expensive, but peace of mind is more important to me. Very stylish body and main and secondary cameras. In the new car, they look very modern. Good equipment, including an 8GB memory card, convenient standard mounts. It can be powered by both the cigarette lighter and the battery (although I must say that not for long). A simple and fairly understandable menu, which any person with a technical education can understand without instructions, and for the humanities there is an instruction in Russian. Wide viewing angles of both cameras. Space price, especially if it is expressed not in $, but in hryvnia. Dual-channel recording mode is possible, only in 15 frames per second mode. I expected better recording quality from the main camera. It was stated that there is a proprietary 3-megapixel Samsung matrix and advanced optics, but in reality the picture looks no better than the one obtained on registrars for $50-65. The additional camera has a resolution of 640x480 and everything is fine with it. |
Comment: You can view it through the players VLCplayer, BSplayer and others. You can see the front there in good quality. camera and rear camera either separately or screen in screen. But the point of having a GPS logger is lost - these players do not show anything from navigation. Build quality is good. Mounting: I installed everything myself without any problems. Connected to the cigarette lighter. Although the kit includes a cord with a fuse for a permanent connection to the battery. This is relevant for using the recorder in parking mode, when the engine is not running and the cigarette lighter socket is de-energized. It works reliably - turn on the engine - start filming. The video quality is good - really 1280x720 (from the front camera). The rear is worse - but decent. Viewing files is easy on the display (2.4 inches). But the screen size is too small - it’s unlikely that you can prove anything, traffic cop There is no turning left or right. Only up and down. This is a minus.
