A powerful autonomous boiler with a large combustion chamber and a solid efficiency that runs on wood. For stand-alone use far from civilization, it fits perfectly. Simple as a bedside table, but thanks to this there are no problems with work. The main thing is that there is a source for firewood or coal nearby. No power supply is needed, the boiler works completely autonomously. Just what the “doctor” ordered for a country house in the village, where sometimes there are problems with electricity, regardless of the weather and season.
It works for me mainly on wood, although in addition to them, coke or coal can also be used. The stove is large, you can load a lot of firewood at a time or use large pieces without bothering yourself with sawing them too much. At the same time, firewood does not need to be thrown up so often - the firebox is as much as 47 liters. The boiler itself is cast iron and weighs almost 300 kg - such a colossus cannot but inspire confidence. Here you don’t even need to dodge with some kind of protection systems - he’s not afraid of anything anyway. Plus cast iron is durable. Can only be used for heating.

I chose a boiler to replace an old and inefficient Soviet gas stove in a private house. Gas is now an expensive pleasure, they did heating on solid fuel and additionally installed a heat accumulator. Coal, of course, also bites in money, but firewood can be harvested without any problems, since the terrain allows it. The boiler is simple and convenient. All adjustments are mechanical, the boiler does not depend on electricity. The combustion chamber has a large loading door. You can put really big logs in there. The benefit is double: it is easier to harvest firewood and large pieces burn out more slowly. Large, solid cast iron heat exchanger. In addition, cast iron seems to be not ours, but Czech. I don’t know exactly what the difference is, but the European material will probably be of better quality. The boiler has no special requirements for the chimney. In my case, I just connected it to an existing chimney from an old gas stove and everything works fine. Fuel can burn different things. Suitable for any coal, wood and various wooden waste. The tree, by the way, does not have to be completely dry - wet logs also burn through normally, except that the heat is a little less. The tree burns out pretty quickly, in three to four hours. Стоял кст16 под газ в , потом еще вдобавок поставил бездымарный газовый котел ,сечас старый кст иногда топлю дровами, всебы ничего но пожирает много дров что аж дымарь под потолком гарячий , задумался поменять на другой поекономичнее и мощнее , станет ли геркулес в газовый кирпичный дымарь и можно его использовать внутри жилого помещения ( есть ли выброс дыма и чада как у котлах длительного горения ), дом 150 кв м
