Inexpensive autofocus prime lens, produced for various cropped mirrorless systems: Canon EF-M, Nikon Z, Fuji X, Sony E. background blur. In the equivalent of a full frame, the focal length of the lens crept close to the 50 mm mark. The optical design of the Viltrox AF 33mm f/1.4 is made up of 10 elements in 9 groups (including two special lenses - ED and HRI). Also, “under the hood” of the model, an STM automatic focusing drive is installed.
The lens is focused from a minimum distance of 40 cm. Of the controls in the model, there are rings for adjusting the aperture and manual focusing. Near the bayonet mount there is a USB connector for updating the firmware and setting up the lens from a computer. It is allowed to install light filters with a diameter of 52 mm on the front lens of the fix. The lens turned out to be very compact (65x72 mm), and its weight is only 270 g.

For Fujifilm, there are two types of this lens: with white and gold lettering. One model was made first, but there was an issue with the bayonet button on the X-Pro, so a second version was released with a fix, even the firmware is different, but optically they are the same. I don't know which version is which because I have an X-T3 and have no issues with either.
The lens gives the impression of a high-quality item, with a metal hood and made of metal itself. Optically, it's also very good. I use it as a standard lens for street photography. It takes great portraits, whether bust or close-up, with wonderful bokeh.
Judging by the reviews, the new 33/1.4 from Fujifilm is better than this one, but its price is quite biting for crop optics. So I can confidently recommend this lens as a standard, portrait one. A good, bright lens for not much money.
