It has a floor-standing design and can be freely moved around the room on roller supports. Gas heater with ceramic element
The Volteno VO2821 gas convector is a heating device with a ceramic heating element. Instead of heating the air, this device heats objects and items located in front of the front panel. Unlike electric infrared heaters, the Volteno VO2821 runs on liquefied gas - propane, which can be purchased at a car gas station. A propane cylinder with a volume of up to 25 liters is installed inside the case, containing 11 kg of propane-butane mixture. The device is equipped with a hose and a reducer, which reduces the gas pressure to the required level. The wheels on the case make it easier to move, allowing you to easily carry the convector within a workshop or shop.
Design and operation
The convector is equipped with a ceramic panel, which consists of three separate segments. Each segment has a thermal power of 1400 W and is switched on alternately using a rotary switch. This allows the user to choose one of three power modes: 1400, 2800 and 4200 W. Each segment is a perforated plate that functions as a micro-torch burner. Gas coming from the cylinder and ignited by a piezoelectric element burns on this plate and heats the ceramic to a high temperature. Despite the almost complete combustion of propane, it is important to ensure good ventilation of the room or at least open a window for ventilation for the operation of the device. At the same time, although the convector is equipped with overheating protection, it should not be left unattended for a long time.
