The model uses heat pump technology, which increases the efficiency of moisture condensation and reduces energy consumption. There is also a SenseInverter inverter motor installed here, which also has a positive effect on energy consumption (class A++) and is designed to reduce noise levels (up to 64 dB).

The Whirlpool FTM 228X2B dryer provides 15 programs, and thanks to the proprietary 6th Sense function and humidity sensors, it can automatically provide the degree of drying required by the user. A suitable cycle is provided for jeans, sportswear, delicate items, and bulky items. It is worth mentioning that the program for wool is approved by Woolmark, which confirms its gentle effect on wardrobe items made from this fabric.

As an additional option, a delayed start (up to 24 hours), timed drying, anti-crease function (anti-creases) and FreshCare+ refreshment are offered. Controls include a rotary dial, child-safety buttons and an LED display that, among other things, counts down the time until the end of the cycle. We also note that the condensate reservoir holds 5 liters, plus there is an indicator that will tell you when it’s time to empty it.
