Xiaomi Redmi G Pro is the most powerful gaming laptop in the range of Chinese conglomerate Xiaomi/Redmi. According to the manufacturer, the key feature of this line is the new AMD Rembrandt hardware platform, perfectly optimized for mobile devices, based on the advanced Zen 3+ microarchitecture. All modifications of Redmi G Pro have a near-top 8-core Ryzen 7 processor with a maximum clock speed of 4.7 GHz, support for multi-threaded data processing and 16 MB of L3 cache. DDR5-4800MHz memory delivers nearly 2x the bandwidth of DDR4, while the M.2 SSD is paired with the progressive PCI-E 4.0 4x interface for lightning-fast transfer speeds. Decent performance in games is guaranteed by the RTX 3060 graphics card with 6 GB of VRAM, 130-watt TDP, dedicated cores for lighting tracing and built-in DLSS 2.0 artificial scaling technology. It's a fairly capable, albeit not record-breaking, combination of hardware that can meet the needs of most casual gamers who are used to playing at 1080p/1440p resolutions with high or medium graphics settings. Also, it will be useful when performing complex tasks related to compilation, modeling, processing of author's content, rendering, etc. To keep the iron under control, a cooling system specially designed for this series with a pair of fans with a curved impeller and four massive heat pipes is called upon. A 16-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels and support for a refresh rate of 240 Hz is responsible for displaying the image in all modifications of the Redmi G Pro. A brightness margin of 500 cd/m² guarantees HDR support. Full 100% sRGB gamut coverage ensures natural color reproduction of virtual game worlds. The weight of the device is 2.66 kg with a case thickness of 28 mm. The base of the case is made of metal, the inner lining and plastic hinges. An 80 Wh battery is hidden inside the case with a maximum operating time of up to 10 hours. Comes with a 330W power adapter with Power Delivery support. Of the ports in the device, there are several variations of USB, mini DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and an SD card slot. Simultaneous connection of three external monitors is supported. A pair of built-in speakers stands out for decent sound quality and supports DTS X Ultra.
