Since 2009, the BAXI brand has been owned by the BDR Thermea group from the Netherlands, which is considered the largest European manufacturer of heating boilers, water heaters, heat pumps and other similar equipment, as well as accessories for it.

BAXI products have repeatedly received prestigious awards, have many distinctions and meet all stringent modern standards. It enjoys high popularity in 70 countries around the world. In some countries of Western Europe, it is even among the best-selling of this area. This manufacturer came to the Ukrainian market relatively recently. However, he has already managed to win a strong position and win the respect of consumers.

The BAXI trademark began its history in 1866, when the Briton Richard Baxendale founded the Baxendale company (later this word will be shortened to BAXI), specializing in the production of boilers. According to the official legend, this manufacturer has done a lot for the development of heating technology. In 2000, it merged with Newmond PLC to form the Baxi Group.

Baxi Group became part of BDR Thermea in 2009. This happened as a result of a merger with the Dutch manufacturer De Dietrich Remeha (its history dates back to 1684), also specializing in the production of heating systems.

BDR Thermea, in addition to BAXI, owns a number of brands that are available to consumers in 120 countries in total. At the same time, some of these brands are practically unknown in our latitudes, but they are extremely popular in Western Europe. For example, the Broetje brand is very familiar to German consumers.
