In this table you can compare five cleaning robots from the review. And on the link you will find a full catalog of cleaning robots.

Price, compact body, manoeuvrability, height difference sensors, friendly with detergents.

There is no vacuum cleaner function.

The Scarlett SC-MR83B77 cleaning robot is a thoroughbred robot polisher, which is primarily focused on wet cleaning in the house. He can also clean dry, but it is important to understand that this is not a standard robot vacuum cleaner. Accordingly, his price is much lower.

In terms of design, it also differs from the standard washer, which most cleaning robots look like. The base of the case has small overall dimensions, it is made of durable high-quality plastic. A liquid tank rises above it. It looks very nice, but in terms of appearance it looks more like some kind of blender or kitchen appliance.

To start wet cleaning, you need to attach a white cloth to the bottom, fill the tank with water and, if desired, add detergent. The liquid enters the napkin automatically in uniform parts through a pair of holes with wicks. Thanks to them, the napkin is moderately moistened all the time, but not wet, so the robot does not leave puddles behind.

The robot can be safely left alone and not follow the work, since it does not "eat" anything, moves around furniture and does not slip in place. External movements look chaotic, but this way he manages to travel long distances. In its lower part, three pairs of sensors are built against falling from a height, which is very useful and practical when used in houses with stairs. The robot runs on an eco-friendly nickel-metal hydride (Ni-Mh) battery with a capacity of 0.8 Ah and lasts from 70 to 90 minutes on a single charge, depending on the type of cleaning.

Perhaps the main advantage of the Scarlett SC-MR83B77 is the price. It will cost 2, or even 3 – 4 times cheaper than popular robot vacuum cleaners.

High price-to-functionality ratio, LED display, powerful wheels, two different suction capacities, a wealth of cleaning settings.

Not very well oriented in the surrounding space.

iLife V55 is a low-cost robot vacuum cleaner that can clean and dry, and clean the carpet, and wash the floor. Moreover, the manufacturer positions it not only as a home assistant, but also a vacuum cleaner for cleaning offices or hotel rooms.

The robot has a traditional round shape. The case is made of durable and high-quality ABS plastic, which is painted in a pretty golden shade. The design is pleasant, perhaps there is no need for more. At the bottom of the robot there are wheels, an auto-charging device and a block with a wet cleaning cloth. On the upper part of the case there is an LED screen for setting the cleaning programme.

iLife V55 has a rather interesting functional set that goes beyond a simple "sweep the carpet in the hall, wash the floor in the kitchen". For example, he has several cleaning modes: regular and thorough. Then it can be programmed not only to clean the whole house, but also to some specific rooms as a whole, only the corners of the room or along the walls in the corridor. You can also install a virtual wall for him, for which the vacuum cleaner will not leave during cleaning. Plus, the user can set the cleaning schedule so that iLife V55, for example, starts cleaning when no one is at home.

The device will cope with both spacious rooms and rooms with many obstacles: the iLife V55 is equipped with sensors for recognizing obstacles and large wheels, thanks to which it will easily drive, for example, on a carpet. The 2.6 Ah battery allows the vacuum cleaner to clean up to two hours, after which it will return to the base itself and replenish the battery charge.

In general, for a price of $180, the functional set is excellent. But it was not without drawbacks. Since the vacuum cleaner has a small number of sensors, it is poorly oriented in the surrounding space, rests against walls and can clean the same place several times.

Reliable, powerful, LED display, can vacuum and wash the floor at the same time, auto charging, mobile application for remote control.

Does not know how to clean carpets, there is no space limiter.

Like most Xiaomi products, the VioMi VXRS01 robot vacuum cleaner is a high-quality and interesting gadget with many advantages and without any obvious weaknesses. At the same time, it is able to perform not only dry cleaning of surfaces of any type, but also wet wiping of the floor.

The robot's appearance echoes other Xiaomi models: a round-shaped case (note: assembled conscientiously), white colour, LED screen on the top. Near the screen there is a dust collector cover and an infrared sensor for orientation in space. There is a sensor for filling the dust collector.

The main difference of the new model is the presence of two side brushes instead of one in the predecessors. At the same time, there is no central brush, a suction hole is installed instead, so he does not know how to clean carpets. But everything else cleans be healthy, the power allows him to suck up not only fine litter and dust, but also large particles of debris like crumbs or lumps of dirt that were brought from the street on the soles. If desired, you can install a separate tank for wet cleaning, while the robot can both vacuum and wash the floor at the same time.

In terms of functionality, we have quite a standard set for this price: sensors for adapting to the space and building the optimal route, automatic return to the charging dock, several operating modes, the ability to control from a smartphone, altitude sensors, scheduled cleaning, etc. Last but not least, all functions work as stated by the manufacturer without any unpleasant surprises: the vacuum cleaner cleans efficiently, behaves adequately, does not fall from steps and other elevations, does not crash into the legs of chairs, and does not chew the wires lying on the floor.

The most interesting thing is that the VioMi VXRS01 does not have any obvious drawbacks. Just a couple of little things that I would like to do better. The first is the aforementioned inability to clean carpets. The second is the absence of a space limiter so that the robot, for example, does not try to get under a computer table with a bunch of wires or does not break into the side of the cat tray. Moreover, this function can be found in cheaper analogues such as ILIFE V55.

Case thickness, LED display, built-in camera, 4 operating modes, mobile application for remote control, battery life.

Raw mobile application, does not fit close to the walls.

The Panda i5 robot vacuum cleaner is a 2017 model. It successfully combines innovative technologies like an active video camera (the robot can be used as a watchman in an apartment), a serious set of functions, the ability to vacuum and wash the floor, as well as an elegant appearance. Theoretically, this allows it to compete with the more expensive robot vacuum cleaners from iRobot.

The robot vacuum cleaner can work in four different modes: from cleaning along a given route and cleaning the surface along the walls, to spot cleaning of the dirtiest places and global cleaning according to a schedule. For wet cleaning, there is a nozzle with a water container and a combined microfibre cloth. There is a system for automatically removing excess moisture, so the robot does not leave puddles behind. And thanks to the ultra-thin body (6 cm), as well as a small diameter, the robot vacuum cleaner is able to easily get into hard-to-reach places.

From a single charge, the Panda i5 is able to work for a little more than 2 hours, after which it will return to the base for self-recharging. With the help of a modern echolocation system, the vacuum cleaner can remember the location of the surrounding furniture, which allows you to bypass it and protects against possible troubles, such as falling from stairs. The robot can also be controlled remotely using a mobile application.

Panda i5 problems begin with a more thorough acquaintance and result in several annoying flaws. Firstly, the mobile management application is quite crude and regularly issues errors. Secondly, the obstacle sensor system behaves excessively cautiously, which makes it seem that the robot is afraid of walls and prefers not to approach them closer than 5-10 centimeters. But most of the dust, dirt and wool from pets is often hidden along the walls and in the corners. Also, some users complain that the Panda i5 does not always find a charging base. However, the company will probably solve all these problems with updating the application and firmware of the vacuum cleaner.

Reliable, powerful, efficiently cleans any surface, mobile application for remote control, auto charging, voice control.

The charging station must be in front of visibility.

For almost 20 years, the Chinese company Ecovacs Robotics has been creating smart robotic mechanisms designed to help keep the house clean.

The line of the most modern cleaners is headed by the Deebot Ozmo 610 model

The main charm of the robot is the combination of functionality and the ability to clean efficiently. The robot is equipped with a system of three Smart Clean Path brushes and a powerful suction mechanism and is able to clean even an unyielding carpet with a very dense pile. The floor will also be washed — the tank holds 300 mL of water, the pump moistens the napkin as needed, the sensors give the command when the water supply needs to be stopped.

You can control the robot in three ways at once. The first is to send into battle using a button on the case. The second is using a mobile application. There are already more options here, since it is more convenient to configure the cleaning mode from the application (which rooms to clean, how to clean, when, etc.). The third is voice control. Deebot robots are compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistants, so it's enough to "make friends" with the devices in the corresponding applications, after which you can use your voice to command the robot to move to the kitchen to wipe spilled tea in the kitchen, and then vacuum the carpet in the hall from cat hair.

In terms of battery life, we have the standard 2 hours for cleaning and 4 hours for charging. There is a function of automatic return "to the base" for recharging, so that later you do not have to look for a discharged robot in the apartment. He also has an excellent obstacle recognition system and accurate anti-fall sensors, which allows him to carefully drive around furniture and brake in time so as not to fall down the stairs on the stairs.

Perhaps the only drawback of this model is that it locates the charging station only in the line of sight, which is not very convenient if you live in an apartment or a house with numerous rooms.
