1. The designation of the Gree brand, there are always the letters G.

2. Type of indoor unit:

  • W — Wall mounted;
  • K — cassette;
  • V — column;
  • J — windowed;
  • F — channel;
  • T — floor/ceiling;
  • P — mobile (portable);
  • M or MV — says not about the type of block, but that it is a multi-split system and its marking is different.

3. Operating modes:

  • C — only cold;
  • H — heat + cold;
  • A — cold + heat + electric heating;
  • E — cold + electric heating.

4. Productivity in thousand BTU, 09 = 9000 BTU, 12 = 12000 BTU and so on.

5. Series code, consists of one or two letters examples of popular series:

  • AA — Lyra;
  • AG — Pular;
  • AF — Muse;
  • AK — Soyal;
  • U — U-Crown and so on, there are quite a lot of series and they are updated.

6. The standard size of the case. For wall units, the following sizes are most often found (note that these dimensions are approximate, but in general they immediately make it clear the approximate size of the wall indoor unit):

  • A — width of the indoor unit ~ 700 mm;
  • B — width of the indoor unit ~ 780 mm;
  • C — width of the indoor unit ~ 850 mm;
  • D — width of the indoor unit ~ 970 mm;
  • E is the width of the indoor unit ~1080 mm.

7. Supply voltage:

  • K — 220-240V, 50 Hz;
  • S — 220-240V, 50-60 Hz;
  • M — 380-420V, 50 Hz.

8. Type of refrigerant:

  • 1 — R22;
  • 2 — R407C;
  • 3 — R410A;
  • 4 — R134A;
  • 5 — R290;
  • 6 — R32.

9. Compressor type:

  • N — ordinary, not an inverter;
  • D — inverter control.

10. Climatic version, depending on the delivery region:

  • N — zone T1, more common;
  • T — zone T3.

11. The standard size of the external unit, there are different values, A1, A2, A3 and so on.

12. Block Code:

  • /I — indoor unit;
  • /O — external unit;
  • most often, the last letter is missing, because there is a set of internal + external block.

Semi - industrial system

2. U — Universal external unit U-Match.

3. H — Mode of operation for cooling and heating.

4. N — Without inverter.

5. 24 — Power 24000 BTU.

6. N is the climate zone T1.

7. K — Supply voltage 220–240V.

8. 3 — Type of refrigerant R410A.

9. A — Modification of block A.

10. O — External unit.
