Deodorant filter

The classic variety of deodorizing filters are elements based on activated carbon; it is possible to use other substances, but they are all sorbents — they absorb pollution. It means that the working element of such a filter needs to be changed periodically — when the resource is exhausted, it becomes useless and can even release harmful substances.
