Among the compared mixers, the WasserKRAFT model has the smallest spout height — 120 mm. Due to this, less vertical free space is needed to install the tap. The height of the jet, respectively, is also small (59 mm). This means that the water will spray less, but on the other hand — in fact it is not always convenient. For example, it will be difficult to fill a vase with water under such a tap.

Hansgrohe is a German manufacturer, about 80% of whose products are manufactured in Germany. Hansgrohe mixers are divided into three main categories: Avantgarde, Modern and Classic. The Talis E2 31612 model represents the Modern category.

The tap implements the technology of limiting water consumption to 5 liters per minute. According to this parameter, the Hansgrohe model leads in our review. Therefore, if saving water is an important criterion for you, pay attention to this tap.

Hansgrohe Talis E2 31612 also has the smallest design depth among the compared models — 100 mm. The depth is measured from the front spout point to the centre of the mounting hole. Due to the shallow depth of the design, such a tap can be used even with the most compact sinks.

Kludi is a German company with almost ninety years of history, which produces taps for bathrooms and kitchens, shower sets, drain—overflow systems, etc. The Kludi range includes 18 series of washbasin taps with various designs and characteristics.

The design of the Zenta series models is distinguished by an interesting combination of geometric shapes of a circle and a square. In addition, unlike the other taps in our review, the Kludi Zenta 382600575 model is available in several colour options. In addition to the traditional chrome coating, this tap can be purchased in black or white. This offer will appeal to those who prefer unusual colour solutions for the bathroom interior.

The Kludi tap is equipped with an economical aerator, although there are models with lower consumption in our review. According to the manufacturer, it provides water consumption according to the so-called class Z: less than 9 liters per minute. The height of the spout and jet of this tap is average: 148 and 75 mm, respectively. Due to this, it is suitable for washbasins of various designs.

Grohe Eurostyle Cosmopolitan 23043002 from 3 322 up to 8 650 ₴ →

The Grohe brand also represents Germany. Its assortment includes taps for the bathroom and kitchen, hand showers and shower systems, as well as equipment for home spa. Unlike the three previous models, the Grohe Eurostyle Cosmopolitan 23043 tap has not a straight, but an arc—shaped spout, and the highest in the review is as much as 301 mm.

Thanks to this, there will be a lot of free space under the tap, which will be useful, for example, when you need to collect water in a large container. The height of the jet is also the highest — 205 mm. It is more convenient to wash your hands and wash your face under a high jet, however, water may spray.

Grohe Eurostyle Cosmopolitan 23043 is the only tap in the review that has a rotary spout. In combination with a high jet, this allows you to use this model in cases where it is necessary to install a single tap for the washbasin and for the bathroom.

The most expensive tap in our review belongs to the French brand Jacob Delafon. Its range includes comprehensive design solutions for bathrooms, as well as a variety of sanitary products.

The Jacob Delafon Fairfax E72090 model has an exquisite retro design, which is radically different from the appearance of the other review taps. This tap will decorate a bathroom made in a retro interior, especially in a traditional English style. And for a more modern interior, it may also be suitable in style, but this is a matter of taste and this cannot be stated unequivocally.

The curved spout of the model has a rather large height (172 mm). However, due to the arc-shaped shape of the spout, the jet of this tap is the smallest in our review: only 57 mm. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully select a sink for such a tap — both in style and in size.
