Mystery MH-7004F 7 section 1.5 kW Low-cost automotive electronics and household appliances are produced under the Mystery trademark. The MH-7004F is one of several inexpensive Mystery oil heaters. It has an affordable price, there is warranty service in the CIS countries, and users, in general, respond positively about it. Although, some owners complained about the smell of paint when first used. The device has seven sections and operates in three modes: with a power of 0.6, 0.9 or 1.5 kW. At maximum power, it can heat a room with an area of 15 m². In the range of Mystery there is also more powerful models that are suitable for heating rooms with an area of up to 20 or 25 m². Against the background of other low-cost solutions, Mystery stands out by the presence of a built-in ceramic fan heater. Thanks to it, the air in the room warms up faster than other heaters. Note that when the fan is turned on, the heater consumes 0.3 kW more energy. Therefore, its maximum power consumption is 1.8 kW. Therefore, it is reasonable to use the fan when you turn on the heater, and turn it off when the room has warmed up to a comfortable level (according to your feelings). In addition, such heating dries the air, so it is better not to warm the air with it for too long. |

Vitek VT-1704 7 section 1.5 kW Vitek equipment is mainly low-cost and has service support in the CIS countries. Although according to reviews, the quality of heaters of this brand is not bad and it is rare to contact the service. Vitek VT-1704 is similar to other low-cost models in terms of technical parameters and, above all, attracts with its low cost. The VT-1704 has seven sections and three levels of heating power (maximum — 1.5 kW). Vitek is equipped with a fan heater, which is useful for quickly warming up the air. Its power — 500 watts — is more than that of some competitors, also equipped with a fan. Therefore, this model consumes a little more energy (up to 2 kW at full power and when the air is turned on), however, it heats the room faster than devices without a fan. This is relevant, for example, when in winter you want to quickly warm up after returning home. |

Reliable design, "fall protection".
The operation of the device is accompanied by clicks.

Electrolux EOH/M-3209 9 section 2 kW If you prefer the equipment of reputable manufacturers, then pay attention to the heaters from Electrolux. Putting aside the laudatory description from the manufacturer, the Electrolux EOH/M-3209 does not fundamentally differ from low-cost models in terms of functionality. It can be recommended to those who are willing to pay a little extra for confidence in the quality of the manufacture of the device — the owners have no complaints about this. Many of them also like the neat appearance of the device and its relatively small dimensions. At the same time, the owners complain in the reviews that turning the device on and off with the thermostat is accompanied by loud clicks. Keeping the temperature at the same level, the heater works intermittently and each period of operation will be "marked" with beeps. They are unlikely to interfere with watching TV, but this point should be taken into account if you plan to heat the room at night. Electrolux has 9 sections and it is more powerful than models with 7 sections. Its minimum power is 0.8 kW, the average is 1.2 kW, and the maximum is 2 kW. This series includes models with different capacities. For example, EOH/M-3157 and EOH/M-3221, operating at a power of 0.6, 0.9, 1.5 kW and 1, 1.2, 2.2 kW, respectively. Electrolux devices do not have fan heaters, which enhance the effect of warming up the room, but also increase energy consumption. Another difference from low-cost models: the power selection is performed not by pressing buttons, but by turning a more convenient round regulator. The instructions for oil heaters usually indicate that they can only be used vertically and in case of falling on their side, they should be turned off immediately. Such incidents are rare and even if small children are playing nearby… Just in case, Electrolux has provided "protection" from such troubles — the built-in sensor will turn off the device when it tips over on the floor or deviates from its usual position. |

The main differences between the AEG model and many analogues are noticeable to the naked eye. Its body is not white, as usual, but black. This gives its appearance originality, although for light interiors this can be a problem. Another feature is that the device has a display on the control panel. There are only a few models on the market with such a "chip" and they are more expensive than the RA 5587. For example, De'Longhi TRD4 0820E or Timberk TOR 22.2512 AXX I. This model can work not only in three normal modes, but also heat the air to the desired level. When you activate this function, the screen will display the temperature you set. And since the control is carried out not by rotary knobs, but by buttons, the screen will also be useful when selecting the mode (0.6, 0.9 or 1.5 kW). In addition, AEG is equipped with a thermometer (with a choice of units of measurement — °C or °F), the indicators of which are also displayed on the screen. The AEG device has a couple more advantages over inexpensive models. The built-in timer allows you to programme the on and off time of the device. Therefore, the heater can, for example, turn on a few hours before the alarm clock rings and you will not have to shiver from the cold when you get out of bed in the morning. The second "feature" of AEG, which only expensive models have, is the so—called protection against freezing or frost. When this function is activated, the device will not allow the room temperature to drop below +5 degrees. This is relevant, for example, if RA 5587 will warm up an unheated summer house or office in the cold season. |

De'Longhi TRD 0615 6 section 1.5 kW The first product released under the De'Longhi brand in 1975 was an oil heater. Therefore, it is not surprising that this Italian company founded by Giuseppe de’Longi, a large range of climate technology, including household heaters of all kinds. De'Longhi oil heaters are divided into several lines depending on their features. The models included in the Dragon series differ from others in the so-called fireplace effect. Their body is designed to create air draft (the principle is borrowed from fireplaces with a chimney). The central section on the sides is covered with a thin metal casing and "tubes" are formed between it and the "ribs". When cold air passes through them, it heats up and is directed upwards. This ensures faster heating of the air and its circulation around the room without additional energy costs (as when using a fan). As people note in the reviews, at the maximum power level (TRD 0615 — 1.5 kW), the device heats a small room (12-18 m².) to the state "it's not cold anymore" in about thirty minutes, and after an hour such a room warms up to a comfortable temperature. By the way, you can also find negative reviews on models from the Dragon series on the Web, but you should take them skeptically. After all, if there is a noticeable smell during the operation of the oil heater, it is possible that dust has settled on it (which means it needs to be cleaned) or there are traces of oil (relevant when first turned on). And the sounds it makes are explained by the fact that when heated and cooled, the metal contracts and decompresses (that is, nothing breaks inside). At the same time, almost no one writes about the real minus of TRD 0615 — the special design of the device makes it difficult to clean the heating plates. Therefore, during storage (but not during operation), it is advisable to cover the device with a cloth. Another feature of the "dragons" is that their wheels are not removable and are installed at the factory. Therefore, buyers do not have to bother with their attachment to the case, as for example, with the Mystery MH-7004F, — the device is immediately ready for operation. On the other hand, it is not necessary to put heavy things on the device in the summer so that the wheels do not break under the weight of such a load. |
