A-Data XPG GAMMIX S60 is equipped with a quad-channel buffer controller that supports the PCI-E 4.0 x4 data bus and ensures stable and efficient operation even in the presence of a stable and constant memory load. The maximum sequential read speed on this drive reaches 5000 MB/s, which exceeds Sony requirements, and performance in the case of random operations reaches an impressive 700 thousand IOPS. To reduce the risk of overheating, an aluminum heatsink with a thin profile is attached to the SSD circuit board, which effectively reduces the temperature of the device without interfering with its installation inside the PlayStation 5 console.

ADATA XPG Gammix S60 is a new wave of budget M.2 NVMe SSDs with read speeds of 5000 MB/s. Its predecessors, even if they worked on the PCIe 4.0 bus, only produced 3500 MB/s. In addition to desktop computers and laptops, it is compatible with the Sony PlayStation 5 game console, but in its case the speed will be limited to 4600 MB/s.
Smart caching
The writing speed depends on the storage capacity: 3200 MB/s for the one-terabyte version and 4200 MB/s for the two-terabyte version. Such a high result is achieved using two smart caching technologies at once: SLC and HMB. The first combines flash memory cells to parallelize recording, and the second uses part of the PC's system-wide RAM.
Error Correction
Equipped with a thin graphene heatsink that can easily fit even into an ultrabook. Supports automatic LDPC write error correction and AES hardware encryption. The proprietary ADATA SSD ToolBox application allows you to monitor the health of the drive. The rewrite resource is 250 and 450 TB for the 1 and 2 TB disk versions, respectively, and the warranty period is 5 years.
