Versatile design
Xiaomi Amazfit GTR is a strict and functional watch with an interesting design and quality materials. Metal is used for the case, and rubber and silicone are used as a strap. Unlike the Amazfit Verge, this watch has standard watch strap mounts, so when using the "classic" design of the electronic watch face, it is quite difficult to distinguish it from a regular watch at a glance. Despite the low price by the standards of smartwatches, they look great. And thanks to the universal appearance, they look equally appropriate with a shirt and jacket, as well as an olympic shirt with sneakers.
Custom Super AMOLED screen
The screen, although it differs in different versions with a diagonal, is pleasing to the eye in both cases — bright, juicy, with a full-fledged Super AMOLED matrix, thanks to which the dial is perfectly visible even in direct sunlight. A tangible plus was that the screen is slightly recessed into the case: this protects it from accidental shocks, but does not affect the control in any way. At first, there were only a few options for the digital watch face, but after a couple of months, there were already much more of them in the Amazfit proprietary application. In general, choosing the option to your taste will not be difficult.

The functionality of Xiaomi Amazfit GTR is such that there is no reason to regret something: there is a heart rate monitor, pedometer, stopwatch, alarm clock, accelerometer and geomagnetic sensor. Also, the watch can count calories and distance traveled, track sleep phases, remind you to stretch, display notifications about calls and messages. Athletes will be pleased with 12 built-in training modes and protection of the body from water and dust. However the protection standard here is IP67, not IP68, so you should not swim in the pool, let alone dive in them.
Fitness tracker
One gets the impression that Xiaomi Amazfit GTR is almost a perfect watch, but this is not entirely true. The fact is that they do not have built-in hardware and a pre-installed OS. That is, it is rather a multifunctional fitness tracker with NFC like Xiaomi Mi Band 4 with a smartwatch design, and not a full-fledged smartwatch. For example, third-party applications, instant messengers and Google maps cannot be installed on them. Work only in tandem with a smartphone and nothing else. Accordingly, the possibilities of using NFC are limited here. In general, this is not good and not bad, it's just important to know this before buying. In addition to the price, this made it possible to increase the battery life of the model: with active use, the charge lasts for about 2 weeks, and when some functions are turned off, for example, heart rate measurement and Bluetooth, the life of a single charge will exceed 1 month.
