model with serious flaws

After six months of use, the rather expensive chair (purchased for 7 thousand) sagged down to the plywood. The armrests also sagged down to the frame. The gas lift stopped holding, and I have to lower it every two days. The seams are still holding, which is pleasing, but the faux leather on the seat completely peeled off after about a year to a year and a half. The coating on the armrests has also slowly started to peel off.

To be fair, I want to say that for the first six months I was quite satisfied with the chair. It wobbled a bit on the gas lift, but I could live with that. In other respects, my back truly stopped hurting after using the computer. Now, however, my... pardon, rear end hurts, because the seat filler has sagged down to the plywood.

Regarding usage conditions: I treat all my devices and furniture with care, I wipe them down and don't drop or bang anything on them. However, I use the computer and chair quite a lot. So, if you sit at the computer for a couple of hours a day, playing in the evening after work, it might truly last you 3-4 years. However, if you expect active use (for me, it can easily be 6-10 hours a day), it's better to invest in something more durable or replace such chairs every six months. But that clearly won't be for 7 thousand.
