Apple HomePod mini

The younger brother of the HomePod smart speaker, presented by Apple at the end of 2020. It belongs to the middle price segment and is designed for devoted fans of the Apple ecosystem. The Siri virtual assistant has learned to recognize voice commands in Russian, and its functionality includes personalized news, weather reports, traffic information and calendar reminders. Four long-range microphones are responsible for the clarity of speech recognition.

While the original HomePod weighed 2.5kg and wasn't particularly compact, the mini version weighs just 345g, making it easy to place in a room. Also designed to play music and podcasts from Apple Music and radio from iHeartRadi and TuneIn. Apple HomePod mini has retained the main feature of its predecessor - omnidirectional spatial sound, which spreads sound waves 360 degrees. Accentuated sound in the low frequency range is achieved through the use of a full-size driver with two passive radiators. Playback is controlled by a miniature backlit touch panel. The speaker supports work exclusively with Apple devices and the ability to combine several devices into a stereo pair or multi-channel audio system.
