To keep the temperature of powerful components under control, Asus engineers installed a serious cooling system with three fans and liquid metal as a thermal interface. In general, such a combination of hardware allows the owner of the ROG Strix G16 to look down on both game console owners and most PC gamers: the total power is enough to play at maximum speeds, there is support for ray tracing and DLSS 3.0, and the video card has a high TDP. To underline the prestige of the series, Asus has equipped most laptop modifications with high-end 16-inch QHD screens with a refresh rate of 240Hz. The display supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision formats, has a built-in FreeSync / G frame synchronizer -Sync and fully complies with Pantone's color requirements. For a slightly more affordable alternative, Asus has released modifications to the ROG Strix G16 2023 G614JI with a slightly simpler Full HD screen, 144Hz refresh rate and 7ms response time. Otherwise, the characteristics of the displays are identical. In addition to iron, representatives of this series stand out due to a number of features characteristic of ROG laptops. One of these elements is the presence of LEDs with Asus Aura Sync support, which are built right into the case. The keyboard is equipped with individual backlighting for each key, allowing users to personalize lighting effects according to their preferences. The built-in network card supports gigabit connectivity and works on Wi-Fi 6E networks. Fast charging in just 30 minutes can restore up to 50% of the battery charge.
