Line Zenbook 14 OLED UX3402VA
A family of ultra-light and powerful 14-inch ultrabooks from Asus, built on the Intel Raptor Lake hybrid platform and equipped with high-end OLED screens. Asus was one of the first companies to start mass introducing such screens into mid-range devices, before that OLED matrices were more common in high-end gaming laptops costing 2-3 thousand dollars. The screen has the following characteristics: a resolution of 2880x1800 pixels, an aspect ratio of 16:10, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, there is support for HDR10. Natural color reproduction (100% DCI P3, Pantone certified) makes it a useful tool for photo and video processing, color grading and similar tasks that require surgical precision in terms of color display. The use of the Intel Evo platform allows Zenbook 14 devices to be stable in terms of charging - according to the manufacturer, the maximum battery life can reach 19-20 hours. Fast charging supports Power Delivery technology and restores 60% of battery capacity in 50 minutes. The Asus Zenbook 14 OLED UX3402VA's sleek and compact aluminum chassis weighs just 1.39kg and is a modest 17mm thick. Thanks to this, such an ultrabook can easily fit in a small bag or backpack without becoming a burden on the road. Plus, the case meets the MIL-STD-810 protection standard, making it a valuable resource for people who spend a lot of time traveling and worry about the safety of their device. User data is guarded by a combination of a TPM cryptographic module and a biometric scanner built into the power button. Traditionally for this line, the manufacturer freed up space on the keyboard by placing a virtual Numpad digital block inside the touchpad. Built-in speakers from Harman Kardon support Dolby Atmos surround sound technology. The communication capabilities of the series are complemented by a high-quality webcam with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and a pair of high-end microphones. The network controller with a wireless receiver (Wi-Fi 5 + Bluetooth 4.1) is responsible for processing network traffic. In addition, it should be noted the presence of a card reader and modern interfaces (USB 3.2 gen2, USB4, Thunderbolt, HDMI 2.1).
+ OLED display
+ Hour battery life (75Wh) + Design, size and size - Awkward RAM upgrade
- Weak WiFi module antenna Valentine: use Asus Zenbook 14 OLED UX3402VA less than month |

We recommend
Office laptop - compact, minimalist design, well-assembled aluminum body, passes the “MacBook test” (opening the screen cover with one hand), at the end it receives a magnet, the fan is quiet.

If you connect a charger to one Thunderbolt (Type-C), you lose the other one and one USB, so you may need a USB-HUB. Let's also plug in MicroSD (sorry not SD).
The kit includes a case, a 65W charger with a Type-C output and a LAN-USB adapter (100Mbit/s).
Can be charged using Powerbank PD 65W (verified).
"Filling"
The processor is energy efficient, with a nasty video core. New games overheat, troll, and video rendering is still important.
If you want to save money, take the 13700H, or even better, the discrete NVIDIA.
RAM (SK Hynix 16GB 4600MHz) - unsoldered, upgrade is difficult.
SSD (Micron 2400 NVMe 1TB 22x80mm). On YT there is a UX3402Z disassembly - there is no other SSD slot.
WiFi module - receives a 5GHz signal stronger than a Lenovo 2017 laptop. Whether there is a screen in the middle, or whether the antenna itself is weak, I don’t know.
The display is top, the brightness is 50-80%.
Battery (estimated, 60Hz)
Play or YT 2160p60fpsHDR - 3-4 years
Office work + browser + video/music inodes YT 1080p — 8-10 years
"Soft"
Installed OS Windows 11 Home Single Language (22H2, x64, Ukrainian), with all the drivers, McAfee (can be uninstalled without problems), and “profile” programs like MyAsus.
