I make a living with finishing works and working with drywall. Therefore, a good drill-driver is one of the most important tools for me. I believe that for serious work, you need to buy a genuine professional "shurick," so I bought this fresh model from Bosch for myself. This brand is as highly regarded in the world of professional tools as Mercedes is in the world of cars, and despite its decent price, I consider the purchase worthwhile. High power and outstanding torque. This tool delivers a so-called "soft" screw driving with a force of 24 N*m, while the "hard" option achieves a torque of 63 N*m. The latter figure is important when working with metal and is very impressive. Not everyone can twist like that, few can do it))) Such power is achieved through capacious interchangeable li-ion batteries. The battery gains 36 watt*hours of electric power from the charger in just over an hour. The quick-release chuck ensures reliable attachment of bits and drills with diameters from 1.5 to 13 mm. The tool fits securely in hand, aided by the soft grips on the handle. Two speed ranges: from 0 to 500 (for screwing) and from 0 to 1900 (for screwing and drilling). Convenient location of the built-in lighting. Traditionally excellent Bosch case. Quite a lot of weight in 1500 gr. This is a price to pay for engine power and battery capacity. Because of this, during prolonged work, the hand gets tired noticeably more than from the previous 900 gram Shurik. |
I've been using it for a year (repair and installation of gates, roller shutters, barriers). I bought the body for the 115 grinder set (the 115 is $25 cheaper compared to the 125, and the only difference is the casing, checked the catalog - the spare parts are the same). A lot of fasteners for concrete with a body thickness of about 4 mm. The same fasteners are also used for metal. The torque on the low gear is such that working with one hand "twists" it out. Breaking the head or the drill of a screw in a size 10 bit is not a problem. The motor is protected from overload (it shuts off) and you can start working immediately by releasing the trigger, during intensive load (engine heating is noticeable) it shuts off earlier. Previously worked with the GSR 18-2-LI NOT PLUS, that one is weaker with no motor protection, lighter! But! The motor burned out annually (the company had several of these), generally an incorrectly selected tool for our tasks (GSR 18-2-LI). P.S. I work paired with a 4Ah battery - beast, with 1.5Ah - much lighter, but it doesn't pull the claimed Newtons with it. Power, lighting. Over time (less than a year), when you try to clamp the equipment, the cartridge rotates; you need to press on the trigger and simultaneously clamp the cartridge. Somehow there were glitches: you pull the trigger - the backlight comes on, the engine is silent, on two batteries use Bosch GSR 18-2-LI Plus Professional 06019E6102 more than year |
