The Bosch PUE 611 FB1E hob has a standard average size of 59x52 cm and is equipped with four burners with the PowerBoost temporary power boost function. Depending on the size, the rated power varies from 1.4 to 2.2 kW. Precise regulation of the heating power and other functions are implemented using the Direct Select touch control. This model has a programmable timer, a touch panel lock system from children and a protective shutdown for overheating. Since the glass-ceramic surface can become significantly hot from the dishes placed on it, it is equipped with independent two-stage residual heat indicators.

Design
The hob is not too expensive, but in appearance it is in no way inferior to more expensive competitors: the glass-ceramic worktop is easy to clean, although it is just as easy to scratch, the panel has no frame and looks stylish, although some prefer the more classic circular designations of zones instead of crosses. However note that glass is slippery, so you will have to hold the pot or pan while mixing food, and the black colour is easily soiled and quickly collects fingerprints. But, perhaps, one of the main advantages was the convenient DirectSelect control panel. It is touch sensitive, located in front and does not contain anything superfluous. The power is switched with one click, since there is a separate button for each mode, and not "+" and "—". In addition, intermediate values are provided, indicated by dots, to make the settings more flexible.

The model contains 4 burners of different diameters and power: two with a size of 180 mm (1.8 kW), one smaller — 145 mm (1.4 kW) and a large one — 210 mm (2.2 kW). In addition, the PowerBoost mode allows you to maximize power. For example, it will turn out to boil water faster than in an electric kettle. But it only works with one burner at a time and for a short time. Also, the device is noisy, especially if several burners are working at the same time.
Spilling liquid from a pot is a common thing in the kitchen, and the Bosch PUE 611 FB1E model is ready for this. In addition to the fact that the glass surface is easy to clean and nothing sticks to it, a 30-second pause is provided. It disables the panel so that you can perform an express cleaning, after which the ReStart function will offer the last saved settings. There are also two timers to choose from that will prevent food from burning: the first one emits a sound signal and turns off the surface where the dish is being prepared, and the second one simply records the time and is accompanied by a pleasant sound.
Responsible for safety are the auto-shutoff system when the burner is overheated or not in use, child protection locking the control panel, and two-position residual heat indicators indicating whether the surface has cooled down after turning it off.
