The Coleman brand trekking 2-person tent is a mid-budget solution. The manufacturer recommends it as a temporary home for active tourists (hikers and cyclists), but it can also be used simply as part of weekend outings in the warm season (from spring to autumn). The frame of the model is represented by two fiberglass arcs, which define the traditional hemispherical (dome) shape.

The Coleman Darwin 2 tent has basic protection from getting wet, because the outer polyester awning provides water resistance up to 2000 mm water column, which means it can withstand light rainfall. There is also a fully sewn-in polyethylene bottom with water protection up to 5000 mm. The dimensions of the berth are 210x140 cm across the floor, so the headroom for one person is a very comfortable 70 cm. There is one entrance to the rest room, which is duplicated with a mosquito net and provides a compact vestibule 40 cm long. In addition, there are ventilation windows and internal pockets . Note that there is a Darwin 2 Plus version on sale, which has a larger vestibule, but is also noticeably heavier (4.2 kg versus 2.8 kg).
