Continental ContiWinterContact TS830P 265/30 R20 94V price graph

Model overview based on user reviews
The Continental ContiWinterContact TS830P tires have received mixed reviews from users. Many appreciate their excellent performance on dry asphalt and their ability to handle city roads well, especially when snow is cleared. They are praised for their superior grip on ice and ability to maintain traction in temperatures ranging from minus 10 to plus 15 degrees. However, some users noted that they can be a bit noisy and may not perform as well in deep snow or slushy conditions. While they excel on highways and cleared city streets, they may struggle in more severe winter conditions, such as deep snow, where they require increased attention and may not move effectively. Overall, these tires are recommended for those who primarily drive on well-maintained roads but may not be the best choice for off-road or extreme winter conditions.

    Not recommended for real winter

I've driven through two winters. Last winter was relatively without much snowfall, and there were no problems. This winter has been a nightmare; I travel for work about 700 km once or twice a month, and it handles well on the highway with no issues. In the city this winter, I got pushed around 8 times, only 2-3 times it was my fault. After a snowfall, I couldn't drive 25 meters out of a parking spot with over 30 cm of snow. It took about an hour of pushing. When a Skoda easily parked in my spot after me, I was shocked. I drive an Audi A6 C7.
Asphalt and snow up to 20 cm
On deep snow, it doesn't move at all; slush and ice are a nightmare.

I've been riding on these tires for two years now. And I must say, I'm used to driving quite fast, both in summer and winter. Both seasons have been different in terms of weather, so my impressions of these tires have also varied. For example, winter two years ago was quite dry, with hardly any snow or ice. Mostly, I had to drive on city streets with dry asphalt. And these tires performed just excellently. In all my time behind the wheel, I haven't had anything better. However, last winter was marked by a lot of snow and ice. And that's when I started thinking that it would be more comfortable on studded tires when driving on ice. So, my advice to you is to consider the roads you usually drive on. If it's about city roads that are well cleared of snow in the winter, then confidently choose ContiWinterContact TS830P, as you definitely won't regret it. But if you often have to drive off-road, it might be worth thinking a bit more.
    Ice requires increased attention.

My impression of these tires is positive. I bought them at the beginning of last winter, installed them on a Skoda Yeti, and have driven through the first season with them. They hold the road perfectly, both at temperatures of minus 10 and up to plus 15 degrees. Well, above that, of course, it's better to switch to summer tires because they start to "float" a bit. The main advantage of these tires is their grip on ice. On roads completely covered with ice, I drove both downhill and uphill. The traction was excellent. And, of course, they handle asphalt, both wet and dry, as well as snow, excellently. They are also one of the few tires that perform well off-road. So my rating is a confident "five."
A little noisy. Therefore, I recommend considering this point when purchasing.
