Representative of the elite breed
Among the rest of the Dremel glue guns (which, by the way, are considered one of the best for good reason), the 930 model stands out for its ability to work in two modes. At 105 °C it is convenient to glue delicate materials that cannot be overheated. And the 165 °C mode is needed to melt the glue to a liquid state and use the extra seconds while it solidifies to more accurately position the parts to be glued.
Everything is thought out
Dremel tools are generally renowned for their quality, so it's no surprise that a glue gun is so handy and reliable. He has a soft, well-working trigger, and a very accurate glue supply mechanism. The spout does not “snot”, even if you leave the tool turned on at full power, and you will not stain the table with drops of glue.
The gun comes with a large set of various glue sticks with a diameter of 7 mm: several low-temperature ones, a couple of high-temperature ones and a pack of multi-coloured ones that children and needlewomen like so much. The tool can work with any rod of a given size, but experience shows that it is better to use Dremel's branded glue, because only it is precisely formulated for temperature conditions of 105 °C and 165 °C.
Handgun for craftswoman
The Dremel 930 glue gun is light (only 310g) and very small. It fits perfectly in a child's or woman's palm. But for men with large hands, it will be inconvenient to hold such a miniature instrument. It is worth mentioning that, due to the light weight, the gun standing on the stand is not very stable (the power cord outweighs), and this needs to be adjusted.
Given the low productivity (only 5 grams of glue per minute), the 930th model is difficult to use for anything other than small needlework, household tasks and work that requires precision and accuracy. And to work at a higher pace, it is better to buy a Dremel 940 pistol with a capacity of 18 g / min.
