Compact and affordable entry-level multifunction inkjet with traditional cartridge ink system, integrated Wi-Fi and Epson iPrint technology, which allows you to receive print jobs from mobile devices. The Epson Expression Home XP-2200 MFP can perform the functions of a full-fledged inkjet printer with pigment black and water-soluble color inks, a photo printer, a flatbed scanner with a high-resolution CIS sensor (up to 1200x2400 dpi) and a digital copier with fast scaling.
The built-in Wi-Fi 4 controller lets you print directly from Android, iOS and Windows laptops, smartphones and tablets. In addition, a standard USB cable connection is supported. Epson's Micro Piezo piezoelectric inkjet output technology provides fast printing of monochrome (8 ppm, ISO) or color documents (4 ppm, ISO), and when using special thick photo paper, photos can be output (printing a 10x15 cm format takes 42 seconds). Works with standard EPSON 604 cartridges (yield b/w - 150 pages, color - 130 pages) or high-yield Epson 604XL cartridges (b / w - 500 pages, color - 350 pages).

Probably the most unsuccessful model, and apparently a whole new line of XP... the original cartridges ran out almost instantly, later I found out that they were actually samples out of the box. It feels like a hot scam. Non-original cheap cartridges are also disposable, and the funny thing is that if you install the same new ones the printer thinks they are old empty cartridges. So you need to get more expensive ones with auto-reset or CISS with a reset. Installing a CISS is practically unreal, barely managed to set it up so the lid would close, but you still need to print with the lid open, meaning you have to lift the part of the case where the scanner is, otherwise the ink hose bends and can tear off the head. I filled it with CW-EW610 ColorWay inks, the black color on the text dusts like powder, even in quiet mode with photo quality settings, so cleaning needs to be done every 10 sheets... After printing 6...10 color pages the printer signals that it is already out of ink. Wanted to flash it to a non-chip firmware to disable ink level control, but the service said they don't have a firmware for this model. Overall, if you're not looking for easy paths, then yes... Also, under no circumstances update the printer firmware yourself, it works as it is, nothing new will be added except additional problems, and it's better to bypass this printer altogether and buy something from a printing factory. for lovers of dancing with a tambourine poor print quality |
