A year and a half ago, we bought 2 identical MG3650s from the same store. They were connected to different computers in different buildings. But on the same day, the lines began to bend when scanning. A suspicion arises: was this defect accidentally programmed? Printed well at first. Like all the latest Canon MFP models, it takes a long time to "think", clicks, etc. before it starts printing, and there are often issues with nozzle clogging. |
For home use, it's generally an excellent option. Moreover, at home, an MFP is truly needed, not just a printer. Whether you need to copy a document for your child for school or a contract for the housing office, the scanner is never idle. It operates quietly and efficiently, adeptly scanning not only black and white documents but also color photographs. However, the scanner plays second fiddle; the printer is needed more often. It prints black and white quickly and in good quality, and it’s lightning-fast in draft mode. In color, the text speed is decent as well, but full-color photographs come out slower. Although it’s not a specialized photo printer, it delivers excellent quality on good thick photo paper. You can easily put the photos in an album. It supports old operating systems. We have an old subnotebook at home that my wife uses. It’s weak, with a small amount of memory, and runs on "XP". I thought this new printer wouldn't support such old technology, but I was mistaken. It works perfectly. It also has WiFi and theoretically can easily print from a smartphone, but I haven't tried this feature yet, as it hasn't been necessary. Small cartridges, ordinary black does not even give out 200 pages, and black of an enlarged size is about 600. It is obvious that the tiny volume of ink is conceived specifically so that people spend money on consumables, otherwise how can one explain that at a cost of 450 hryvnias in an ordinary black cartridge there are only 8 ml ink. That's less than half a tablespoon! So, I bought one big black PG-540XL and now I run it myself. In the service, they charge 60-100 hryvnias for this, but why spend all the cases there for no more than 15 minutes. |
