A year and a half ago, we bought 2 identical MG3650s from the same store. They were connected to different computers in different buildings. But on the same day, the lines began to bend when scanning. A suspicion arises: was this defect accidentally programmed? Printed well at first. Like all recent models of Canon MFPs, it “thinks” for a very long time, clicks, etc. until it starts printing, and there are often problems with nozzle clogging .. |
For the home, it's a great choice. And at home you really need an MFP, and not just a printer. Either a certificate of some kind to the child in school needs to be photocopied, then a copy of the contract to the housing office. In general, the scanner is not idle. It works quietly and efficiently, scans not only black documents, but also color photographs. True, the scanner is still on the sidelines here, the printer is needed more often. Prints b/w quickly in good quality and just reactively in draft. In color on text, the speed is also decent, but full-color photos come out slower. Although this is not a specialized photo printer, it gives excellent quality on good thick photo paper. The album can be folded without problems. Supports older operating systems. The household has an old subnotebook that the wife uses. It is weak, with a small amount of memory and works under the "express". I thought that this new printer would not support such antiquity, but I was mistaken. Works great. There is also WiFi and, in theory, the printer can easily print from a smartphone, but so far I have not tried this feature, it was not necessary. Small cartridges, ordinary black does not even give out 200 pages, and black of an enlarged size is about 600. It is obvious that the tiny volume of ink is conceived specifically so that people spend money on consumables, otherwise how can one explain that at a cost of 450 hryvnias in an ordinary black cartridge there are only 8 ml ink. That's less than half a tablespoon! So, I bought one big black PG-540XL and now I run it myself. In the service, they charge 60-100 hryvnias for this, but why spend all the cases there for no more than 15 minutes. |
