Multifunctional external digital TV tuner with a metal case, an antenna input and a USB 2.0 port that supports connecting external drives and Wi-Fi modules. It is positioned as an affordable product in the mid-price category in 2022, capable of fully decoding the signal of all standards of domestic digital cable and terrestrial television broadcasting (DVB-T/T2/C with resolutions from 576i/576p to 1080i/1080p).

Thanks to the HDMI connector, the Eurosky ES-17 TV tuner can easily be connected to any modern LCD/OLED TVs, and a pass-through antenna port and a set of composite connectors will help to display the image on outdated models of TV receivers, incl. for devices with a CRT tube. The basis of the hardware platform of this model is a combination consisting of a Guoxin GX3235S processor with a sensitive tuner.

The speed and functionality of this platform is sufficient not only for decoding a TV signal, but also for the operation of the proprietary SMART shell. Using USB Wi-Fi adapters on RT5370 and MT7601 chips, which are purchased separately, you can connect the TV tuner to the global network. The Megogo application allows you to view an expanded set of TV channels and enjoy your favorite films, cartoons and TV series. In addition, you can watch videos from Youtube and use the Gmail and Weather applications. When a USB drive is connected, the function of recording at a specified time (PVR) and watching TV using Pause/Rewind (TimeShift) is available.
