FiiO M15S

A high-end and quite expensive Hi-Fi player from FiiO with support for DLNA and AirPlay, fast charging, built-in wireless receiver (Wi-Fi + Bluetooth) and, of course, a high-quality sound path. It is an updated version of the best-selling M15 with an updated DAC, a fresh version of Android OS and a dozen smaller improvements that would be the envy of many modern smartphones. Created for connoisseurs of extremely high-quality and detailed sound, who are used to listening to music in loseless quality and do not trust MP3 decoders.

The FiiO M15S is equipped with a paired flagship-level ES9038 Pro DAC from ESS Saber Technologies, which can easily be called the pinnacle of audio engineering. This 32-bit, 8-channel DAC delivers unrivaled audio fidelity and clarity (claims support for 32-bit/768 kHz PCM, DSD256 and MQA), making it ideal for decoding and playing back high-resolution audio formats. Otherwise, the media player is similar to other FiiO 2023 Hi-Fi models.

Most of the front side is occupied by a large, bright and high-contrast IPS touch screen (diagonal 5.5 inches, resolution 1280x720 pixels). As an alternative to the touch screen, the player has physical buttons and a volume wheel. The player runs Android OS with the ability to install any popular music applications (Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube Music, etc.). The brain of the device is a fairly fast 8-core Snapdragon 660 processor, which has already been found in the flagship player FiiO M17.

In terms of connectivity, there is a classic 3.5 mm single-sided mini-jack, as well as more extravagant 2.5 mm micro-jack and 4.4 mm balanced pentacon. Any wireless headphones and headsets can be connected to the built-in Bluetooth class 5.0 receiver. Built-in 6200 mAh battery providing about 10.5 hours of continuous playback of lossless formats. Fast charging Quick Charge 4.0 replenishes energy from 0 to 100% in an average of 3.5 hours. The built-in storage capacity of 64 GB can be expanded using a microSD memory card. The maximum capacity of the memory card can reach 2048 GB.
