Full-size closed-back headphones with active noise cancellation, combo connectivity (Bluetooth 5.1 + 3.5mm audio cable), long battery life and audiophile sound. The model was released in honor of the company's 95th anniversary, so its creators set themselves a rather ambitious task to release the best wireless headphones in the history of Bang & Olufsen. Accordingly, they belong to the upper price segment and are designed for music lovers in search of a top-end Bluetooth model with audiophile sound, which can easily outperform conventional Sony WH-1000XM5 or Bose QuietComfort 45.
Proprietary 40 mm titanium drivers with neodymium magnets and auxiliary DSP-processor for additional digital signal processing. It is important to note that the speakers have a minimum impedance (12 ohms), so even the cheapest smartphone can swing them. Additionally, the headphones support the new generation aptX Adaptive dynamically configurable audio codec. The design of the Bang&Olufsen Beoplay H95 headband is designed for long-term wear, and the headphones themselves look quite impressive.
The headband is upholstered in cowhide leather and custom fabric material. The ear pads are lined with lambskin leather and filled with soft memory foam. To control Beoplay H95, not only touch buttons are used, but also a special aluminium disk placed on each of the bowls. In addition to the passive noise cancellation provided by the closed headphone design, they also support Active Digital Noise Cancellation (ANS) through multiple built-in microphones and dedicated noise reduction algorithms. According to the manufacturer, the ANS was tuned in a special measuring chamber built in the Bang & Olufsen laboratory in Denmark. In addition to ANS, the headphones support a user-configurable transparency mode, allowing you to hear ambient sounds without removing your headphones. When connected wirelessly, Beoplay H95 has a battery life of up to 38 hours.

A little more detail about the successes and shortcomings, I’ll start with the sound. It is clear that from premium headphones you will hear a wonderful sound, and here it is, the sound is even clearer - the bass is balanced, clear and sharp, the high frequencies have enough expression, but I can say nothing about the mid frequencies the stinks of some tracks are like porridge and the playing is not so impressive as much as I wanted. When connected via wire, there is a big difference, I don’t feel I don’t know, plus or minus, but sending via bluetooth smells good. I also can’t help but write about the lack of thickness of these headphones, since with normal thickness you lose one section on the MacBook or iPhone if you want to add one, you won’t be able to, so I would say that the additional thickness will play without distortion. The visibility mode here is average, the most average one is very quiet and not very quiet sounds, it’s problematic to listen to this mode, the noise is attenuated and there are no complaints at all. The battery lasts a long time, but there is no fast charging. The headphones are made of aluminum, titanium skins and plastic, so I wouldn’t want to pay for headphones for such a sum. My headphones were defective in adjusting the size of the earpiece, on one side they did not trim like a trace and hung under the force of gravity, which is unacceptable. The only thing I would like to say is about comfort, but it’s critically bad - the ear pads are quite hard, the mesh behind the ear pads puts a little pressure on the ear and the headband puts quite a lot of pressure on my head, to the point of pain, and I can’t sit in them for more than 30 minutes. The headphones had to be turned. Sound, battery, accessories and materials.
