FOSSIL ES4490

Introduced in 2019, the American watch brand FOSSIL has expanded the Jacqueline line, which combines models with a classic round case but very unusual design features. And for the exact movement without the need for winding, a quartz movement powered by a battery is responsible here.

The FOSSIL ES4490 features a 36mm black PVD-coated steel case and a leather strap attached to neat trapezoidal lugs. The minimalist dial with a pair of hands is also made in the same colour. It has oblong hour markers with shortened minute markers.

The second hand is placed on a separate dial, located near the "six". It is all encrusted with decorative stones, which are another design feature of the model.

Waterproof and practical

The body of the FOSSIL ES4490 is well protected from water, it is not afraid of heavy rain or taking a shower. You don't need to take your watch off to swim, unless you're diving. The classic buckle provides a secure fit, and the strap itself provides a quick-change system.

The case thickness of 8 mm will not cause inconvenience in tandem with various wardrobe items, except perhaps for products with too narrow cuffs. The disadvantages of the model include not the best visibility of the hands: at certain angles or with a lack of lighting, the black hands can merge with the dial. The sister model FOSSIL ES4490 will not have such difficulties, but it costs a little more and does not look so unusual.

Otherwise, FOSSIL ES4490 is a truly original accessory that is ready to become a stylish addition to the image and attract the eyes of others.
