Goodyear Ultra Grip Performance Plus 225/55 R18 102V

An improved version of the Goodyear Ultra Grip Performance G1 winter friction tire, released before the 2019-2020 winter season. The tire received a directional symmetrical tread pattern, borrowed from the predecessor model, and a new optimized Winter Grip rubber compound formula. In particular, the compound now includes special resins that promote the fastest possible shape recovery after deformation - thereby ensuring better conversion of braking forces into grip.

The tread pattern of the Goodyear Ultra Grip Performance Plus 225/55 R18 102V is made in the shape of the Latin letter V, while the central ridge of blocks is separated from the shoulder areas by two circumferential channels for the removal of melted snow and water masses. The tire tread elements are dotted with multiple sipes, which enhance the transmission of traction and braking forces on slippery and snowy road surfaces. The model is characterized by low rolling resistance, comfortable and quiet running, and long operational mileage. The surface of individual tire blocks provides an indication of the remaining tread height in the form of a snowflake.
