Google's smart speaker is the second generation of Nest Mini devices. This is an ultra-compact model that, if desired, can even fit into a pocket or backpack: its dimensions are 42x98x98 mm and its weight is less than 200 g. The gadget has a nice design: a round, streamlined shape, smooth lines, a non-slip base and several discreet and brighter colors on the choice. The top of the speaker is covered with durable fabric made from recycled materials.

The speaker is powered only from the mains, is equipped with an extended cable (1.5 m) and is equipped with a mount that allows you to hang it on the wall. Compared to the first generation, Google Nest Mini 2 produces 2 times stronger bass and, in general, provides spacious, rich sound. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 are used for wireless connection, thanks to which you can listen to music from a smartphone or tablet, turn on Internet radio and launch playlists of popular streaming services like YouTube Music, Spotify, etc.

But the main function is voice control and interaction with Google Assistant. The virtual assistant can search for answers to questions online, read the news, check the weather forecast, set alarms, read traffic information, and even tell jokes - in general, you get all the information you need without getting out of bed. In addition, Google Assistant will help you remotely control smart home equipment: turn on lighting, robot vacuum cleaner, air conditioning and other devices. Thanks to three built-in microphones, the virtual assistant can even hear commands spoken by a quiet voice from across the room. It also remembers up to 6 people, distinguishes their voices and provides personalized information for each specific user.
