There are 15 programs, there are also ones for woolen items, delicate items, children's items, etc. I also like that there is child protection; you can’t open the door during operation, it’s locked. A wonderful unit for a single man, all you need is the mix wash function, detergent, and fabric softener if desired for a pleasant scent. That's it. The machine will do everything else itself. If you wish, you can set additional washing and rinsing. There is a self-cleaning feature, which is also interesting. I've tried it twice. I don't know how it cleaned itself inside.
