A family of compact ultrabooks from HP with modest functionality and a large selection of hardware configurations based on the Intel Alder Lake platform. They belong to the entry level, designed to solve the widest range of casual tasks, including browsing, working with tables, writing texts, multimedia entertainment, online games and not too complicated work related to the creation and processing of copyright content. The HP 14-ep0000 series is distinguished by a wide range of hardware configurations: in particular, this is a rare line of laptops in which the familiar Core i3 / i5 processors are adjacent to the budget Intel N processors that replaced the old Celeron and Pentium. The processor is complemented by one or two 8 GB or 16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM modules, a high-speed NVMe-enabled SSD, and an integrated graphics card from the Intel HD series integrated into the CPU. To display the image in all modifications, the same entry-level 14-inch IPS screen with 1080p resolution, a standard margin of brightness (250 cd / m2), modest color reproduction (45% NTSC) and a base refresh rate of 60 Hz is provided. The anti-reflective coating avoids strong reflections even in direct sunlight, providing a comfortable viewing experience. In addition, HP ultrabooks are equipped with a built-in battery that provides up to 10.5 hours of battery life, as well as support for fast charging, which allows you to charge the battery by 50% in just 45 minutes. For video communication, a True Vision HD webcam with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels and a built-in directional microphone is provided. The laptop's proprietary touchpad supports gesture control, including page scrolling, image zoom, and quick switching between active applications. To connect monitors and peripherals, there are 3 USB ports of different classes and one HDMI 1.4b. Internet traffic is distributed by a network controller with support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless networks. Direct LAN port is not provided.
