I didn’t think that it was the hour of the war, as the Russian malice began, you can buy such a cool laptop even at a reasonable price (it was 30 thousand UAH, but the price fell and 26500). A good workhorse for every day if you need something more powerful than a typewriter. I took the 5600n / 8/512/3050 (50W) model, after which I delivered a 2TB and 16GB hard drive with one RAM chip. Inside, it is made without obvious jambs in electronics, but also without enhanced cooling (only two paired tubes, but with plates for memory and field switches, chokes). For comfortable work, I set the maximum speed of the processor to 2.2 GHz and equalized the curve in the MSI afterburner at 1400 GHz core and -500 MHz from memory (approximately 30-40W GPD) in this config it does not switch to the most powerful mode for coolers and does not overheat with simultaneous load above 60 degrees (hot spot up to 70), when the load is only on the CPU or the video camera, you don’t have to bother, there is enough cooling, just turn off the boost (fortunately, the base frequency is already not small 3.3 GHz).
I myself chose between this series and Victus (the best cooling, a larger screen, but much worse color reproduction), Asus, judging by the extreme revisions, suffer from overheating of the vrm video chip, and lenovo / icer I just don’t trust much if this is not a laptop for office work, so I chose this one model. P.S. I would not take configs higher than 5600H / 11400 in a bundle of 3050/1650 in this case because there is clearly not enough cooling for it and there will be no benefit under real load, everything will go into throttling and excessive heating. The price-quality ratio, the matrix really pleasantly surprised me in terms of color reproduction, the sound that is really audible (previously there was a vivobook), you can put a 2.5 disk in your pocket instead of a plug. Two sticks of 4 GB each, but they work in dual after replacing one with 16 GB;
HP software: I didn’t find how to make the battery charge up to 60-80%, AMD master does not work with 5600N (I wanted to turn off turbo boost and SMP), there is no disable of the touchpad (you can only off by soft or when a second mouse is connected). The jambs are not critical and, in principle, may possibly be corrected by BIOS updates, but as long as they exist, this is HP ....  Ducalise Tolik: use HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec2000 few months |

Что стоит в слоте 2.5? #
Я его уже дважды разбирал. Сначала решил что это ссд, но потом нашел интеловский ссдшник рядом с оперативкой. Огромная (ну, как раз размером с хард) черная штука с надписью НР - что же это? Я просто даже примерно представить не могу - не слышал чтобы видеокарту выпускали в таком формате, да и она впаянная в мать вроде... И на заглушку не тянет - она подсоединена к материнке шлейфом.
