There is no overheating (middle ATX cases with a cooler on the rack for HDDSSD). The only thing common to these problematic stations with these faulty SSDs is that the disks were filled more than 70%, the total operating time of the disks ranges from 600 to 720 hours, and it seems the issue occurred during a prolonged read operation (there is a system that periodically makes a backup – an image of the whole disk).
The stations where the problems arose have no other obvious similarities; they have completely different generations of hardware, modes of operation, OS, and other software. No overclocking is used anywhere, naturally. A strict, good office park of machines, with normal power supplies and non-exotic components. The replacement of disks with these faulty designs was due to the need to increase capacity; previously, there were the good old SV300S37A 120Gb and SA400S37 120Gb.
I read a similar comment about the mass failure of these disks on the website of a large electronics retail chain.
