The food was recommended by a salesperson in the pet store, they said it’s the same quality as Royal Canin but not as overpriced, made in Germany. I bought this particular type because my cat is spayed, and she ate it with pleasure for a year, but then kind of got tired of it, so now I'm buying a different kind. A 2 kg pack was just enough for a month for the cat, sometimes even longer. The main difference between this food and cheaper ones is that it does not lose its scent, which is a key factor for my glutton, as if the food does not smell appetizing, she simply won't eat it and will follow you around and yell until you go crazy, throw a slipper at her (which doesn’t help for long), or give in and "refresh" her food. So, the smell of this food is enough for her to finish it, so you don't have to throw away the leftovers and waste it. Regarding its lightness, it seems to be true, at least the cat didn’t gain weight over the year. The only downside is the packaging. Firstly, there is no handle to carry it like a bag, secondly and most importantly is the opening for pouring the food – it's on the side of the pack, and when you pour the food into a dish, you can't see the quantity because the pack blocks the view, sometimes you end up with such a heap that you have to take some back so the cat doesn't overeat and burst.
