The Lenovo 2023 LOQ series, specifically the 15APH8 laptop lineup, brings together mid-budget gaming solutions with a 15.6-inch screen. These devices are positioned as the younger siblings of the high-end gaming laptops in the Legion series. They feature a similar design, have slightly more modest hardware, yet incorporate the brand's advanced developments. For instance, all Lenovo LOQ 15APH8 laptops are equipped with the specialized LA AI chip, which uses machine learning to optimize hardware performance and is designed to improve FPS in games and system performance (including thermal efficiency under high loads).

All models in this series are based on AMD Phoenix (Zen 4) processors, which can range from 6-core Ryzen 5 to 8-core Ryzen 7. The "engine" works in tandem with high-performing DDR5 RAM, available in configurations from 8 to 64 GB. Graphics processing is managed by discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050/4050/4060 graphics cards, all of which support hardware ray tracing technologies.

Gaming enthusiasts will also enjoy a free 3-month access to Xbox Game Pass. The display is handled by a 15.6-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 144 Hz (also featuring adaptive sync technologies), and a peak brightness of 350 nits. Among other hardware features, there are solid-state M.2 SSDs starting at 512 GB, stereo acoustics with a Realtek ALC3287 audio chip, and a 60 Wh battery. The latter provides up to 6.5 hours of autonomy, supports fast charging (charging to 80% in an hour), and allows power delivery via USB C.
