One of the few so-called Full HD gaming monitors equipped with IPS matrices. The LG 24MP59G-P features AMD FreeSync technology and a dedicated Motion Blur Reduction mode that drastically reduces motion blur caused by long sensor switching times. The monitor has a real diagonal size of 23.8" (or 604 mm) and a standard resolution of 1920x1080. Thus, the true pixel density is 92 ppi, which is enough to form a detailed and detailed image. An IPS-type matrix provides 8 bits of colour information per channel, but Frame Rate Control technology is additionally used for this. Powerful W-LED backlighting achieves maximum brightness of 250 cd/m2, static contrast ratio of 1000:1 and viewing angles of 178 degrees. The already mentioned Motion Blur Reduction (MBR) technology reduces the minimum claimed...response time of 5 GtG to 1 ms. However, note that the principle of operation of the MBR is based on the effect of a short-term, but complete extinction of the backlight. In fact, pulse-width modulation is turned on, which allows you to remove the smearing effect. The monitor can connect to video sources via any of the three provided interfaces — HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2 or VGA (HDMI cable included as standard). The model received a stylish spectacular stand with adjustable screen angle from -5 to +15 degrees.

    great model, love it

I advise !!!!! A very worthy choice. Believe me, in search of a decent monica, I rummaged through TONS of forums, reviews and sites and settled on this device. At first I was worried about the stand, they write that the monik is staggering, but people are a monitor and not a swing! !!!!!!!!! In general, with the stand, all the rules, I have a monik on a column that is smaller than the legs of the monik and all the rules. I didn’t find the quality of the matrix and the assembly itself at the height of the jambs. The power supply is remote, which is good, less heating in the case and it’s convenient. In general, if someone, like me, is looking for a good quality monitor, I advise this model to buy, save a lot of time and nerves on the search and stay Of course, some are satisfied and, ideally, they will find flaws, but the monik is really good.
High-quality assembly excellent picture presence of an HDIM cable in the kit external power supply.
    Didn't find it.

    Great monitor, love it

I've seen many reviews mentioning visible pixels and that it's supposedly hard to set up, but I didn't get that impression. I connected it via HDMI, installed drivers and utilities for setup, restarted the computer, adjusted brightness, contrast with the slider, and response time, and that's it (resolution and refresh rate automatically set as needed). Initially, of course, the brightness and contrast were eye-popping, but that's probably for display purposes to make it look nice.

The only downside is that it's a bit wobbly, though my desk is quite small, but I resolved this issue by placing speakers on both sides of the monitor =) Another slight disappointment was that my headphones didn't work when plugged into the back of the monitor, but that's an issue with my graphics card; it's old and likely couldn't transmit sound via HDMI back then (Geforce 9800 GT).

I enabled the 1ms Motion Blur function but didn't really understand it; it was too harsh on the eyes.

I liked the ability to set profile settings for different tasks. I created three different profiles - for internet surfing, gaming, and movies, each with different brightness and contrast levels.

    good model, I liked it

I made another upgrade of the system unit and put a powerful gaming video card from AMD there. In addition to a good price, such cards support tricky proprietary synchronization of frame rate and monitor refresh rate. This thing is called AMD FreeSync and you need a compatible monitor for it to work, since the choice of such models with a variety of diagonals is now excellent.
This is probably the best of the inexpensive gaming monitors on the IPS matrix. Yes, labor nerds can say that IPS is generally not suitable for such tasks and the matrix must be strictly TN. But upon the fact of use, I will say that all this is a star. The monitor is really cool and the 5ms response time actually works great. Yes, there is a little smearing in the tests, but that's what tests are for, to catch such things. In real games, everything is fine, in shooters, dynamic scenes are displayed flawlessly, there are no loops or visible artifacts from the word at all. Again, the color and viewing angles that this IPS matrix gives are an order of magnitude better than any TN screen can give out. For the eyes, the picture is pleasant, the vision is almost not tiring. AMD FreeSync, which I wrote about above, really works, having tried it, I think that for any gamer this is a must have. There are no connection problems in principle, there is a set of common connectors on the back. There is no only DVI, but it can be easily connected with an inexpensive adapter. Long-term warranty, two years.
After a month of use, I noticed two minor flaws. The first is the glow effect, which is typical for matrices of this type. Personally, it does not bother me and it is visible only in the evening, in low ambient light. The second cant concerns the shortcomings of the assembly, the plastic is thin, walks under the fingers. The stand is flimsy, any push of the table causes the monitor to wiggle
