Can't fault the picture quality. The screen is amazing. LG knows what they're doing. By default, it comes with an eco mode - everything is dark and dim. However, with manual settings, you can get it to a decent level.

As for the speakers, they didn't put much effort into them. The sound is flat. This didn't particularly bother me. I bought it for the screen. I also pre-purchased a 5.1 system from Yamaha, and I recommend the same to you. Now it's bliss.

You should pay attention to its weight and dimensions. Transporting and assembling (the stand) a 55" alone is dangerous. The top part of the screen is very thin, and given the weight, you shouldn't grab it there.

It's interesting to know that starting in 2021, LG decided to drop DTS sound support, so when watching videos from a flash drive, this format won't be available. In those cases, I use a media player.

A couple of months later, a button on the remote broke, but that's that...

If you plan to set it up yourself after purchase, you'll struggle a bit. First, assemble the stand with 3 screws, and then place the TV onto it.

The image quality and operating speed are top-notch.

The stand does not inspire confidence, so if you have clumsy people around, it's better to mount it directly on the wall.

The TV is great, I want to try android, Eldorado delivery will screw up the TV

The TV gets 5 points, Eldorado delivery gets 1 point, I won't order here again. Bought the TV in the Vegas Crocus City mall department 1.5 weeks ago. Initially wanted one on Android for more functionality, but such OLEDs with the same features are significantly more expensive (from Philips, Sony).

the picture is gorgeous, I can’t describe how cool it is, deep blacks, contrast, wide viewing angles. My wife and I loved watching movies, but now we can’t stop watching them. The sound is good, low volume is enough for us.

1. Eldorado delivery full incompetence: violated the TV delivery rules according to the sign on the box. Recorded a video where it was rolled out from the trunk upside down and then flipped over. That is, the TV might have been resting on the thin part of the display the whole trip, which is a blatant violation of transportation instructions. Upon unpacking, I found no visible damage, but testing on 10% gray reveals noticeable banding - several vertical and horizontal lines. Still deciding if it's worth the hassle of returning it.
2. From the instructions for residual image protection, avoid viewing images with logos (broadcast TV channels, games); there is reduction in logo brightness, but it's minimal.
3. From the instructions for residual image protection, avoid viewing images with black bars (cinema movies 21:9 and 4:3); it is recommended to remove black bars by stretching the image (causing it to be either slightly stretched or cropped - your choice). There are still a few movies in openMate format, but you need to search and download them, so there shouldn’t be black bars, and no need to stretch.
4. On such a TV, you want to watch in 4K, but there isn't a lot of content yet - several hundred movies. 2-3 TV channels but with the same logos or small black bars.

Question about LG OLED55C1

Где смотреть фильмы для этого телевизора

1. В инструкции к телевизору указано что изображения 4:3 и 21:9 могут спровоцировать появление остаточного изображения. Возникает вопрос где находить фильмы нужного формата. Я слышал про open matte, но не понял в каких кинотеатрах онлайн есть такие фильмы. Или только в торрентах искать такой формат? И на сколько критично это требование из инструкции (т.е. наличие черных полос сверху и снизу при просмотре кино)?

2. Вопрос по логотипам тв канала. Т.е. ТВ канал с логотипом нельзя смотреть?

интересует тв LG OLED 65C1RLA, за 133500р можно найти ростест, продавцы поют, что это российская сборка, гарантия, доставим в запечатанной заводской упаковке(все это можно проверить по серийному номеру). но все равно как то не доверяешь. Кто здесь покупал подскажите надежный инет-магазин и какие подводные камни могут ждать.
