Model overview based on user reviews
The LG OLED65B9 TV receives mixed reviews from users. On the positive side, it boasts exceptional picture quality, especially in HDR and Dolby Vision modes, as well as an ergonomic remote control and sturdy build. Very good with PlayStation 5. Damn good)
     16 December 2020
I'm writing my third review, as promised, with tests on the PlayStation 5. This TV was bought mainly for games and movies.
Let me be straight - games in 4K HDR are simply fantastic. It's hard to describe, it's something you have to see for yourself)
The combination of OLED and PS5 works like a charm.
Black colors are truly black, there's no blur, no halos or glow on the OLED, and as previously noted, the color reproduction is excellent.
It's no wonder this screen is recommended as a gaming TV. Now, new games look even more impressive on next-gen consoles)
I definitely recommend it for those who play and watch videos - a must-have) Adding photos, they will appear after moderation.
P.S. And the PlayStation 5 with its new DualSense controllers is just out of this world. Waiting for the exclusives in 2021)
P.P.S. And as for the year-and-a-half-old hater, we pay no attention)
Great performance in games, no blurring, low input lag.
Games in 4K HDR on the PS5 look amazing.
Playing in the dark with LED strip on the back of the screen is a pleasure)
With the right gaming mode settings, it delivers excellent results.
You need to spend a little time setting up the gaming mode. But by spending time and figuring it out, you get excellent image quality with minimal delays and low input lag.

It is better to see once than to read a lot of ridiculous fake reviews)
     4 November 2020
In continuation of my review, I am adding photos taken on a smartphone, which at least show a bit of the real picture) And even when viewed from an angle, everything is okay) Everything is really okay) Not what some trolls write, who have never seen this TV in real life. P.S. I attached a simple LED strip to the back of the TV - got something like Ambilight) In the evening or at night, it adds comfort while watching, the colors are static and change with the remote. Looks pretty normal)
I will say it again, the image is excellent, the build quality and the casing itself are excellent, a multitude of settings - you can customize everything "to your liking". I really liked the remote control - text input is fast, like with a mouse, which it essentially is)
A real Ambilight would be nice here)
It would be possible to make the power cable detachable.
But all these are trifles, for such an image, one can sit with an ordinary LED strip with a non-detachable cable)

    Must have)))
     29 September 2020
In general, a cool TV - the image is very cool, the best I've seen, the most modern HDMI 2.1 connectors, the ability to connect PlayStation5 at 4K 120Hz. P.S. You should not pay attention to the OLED haters that they wrote earlier) Only after buying, turning on and testing the OLED display, I realized how cool it is! QLED from Samsung is not even close, just like regular LEDs.
The image quality first and foremost is exceptional!) Compared to a regular LCD - it's like day and night. The black level is impressive. With proper calibration, it delivers a superb picture - perfectly saturated, perfectly contrasting, perfectly bright. It's a sheer pleasure to watch. Stylish slim design. Quality of materials and assembly are top-notch. The immensely convenient Magic control remote control works like a mouse on the screen. The sound is clear and loud, but lacks bass; for proper sound, I have a separate amplifier and floor-standing speakers, so that's not a drawback) Also, there are HDMI 2.1 ports here - with the release of PlayStation5, I will be able to transmit content to the TV in 4K 120Hz) There are many settings that allow precise adjustment of the image "to your liking."
There is information about the burnout of OLED matrices during prolonged use with static elements on the screen. I can’t say yet what it is, but it’s a little alarming ... A simple plastic stand. It performs its function - but the metal would look better. I hung it on the wall on a good bracket with many adjustments - and forgot) It's a pity that it's not pure Android. But if you use it as a screen for a PC and PS45, then this is not a drawback) P.S. Ambilight would have been attached here - in general, he would not have had a price)
