An unusual, one might say, experimental Midi Tower case with a three-chamber design. The video card is positioned vertically and is located directly behind the front ventilation grille (special brackets and a PCI-E 4.0 riser are provided for this). According to the manufacturer, this approach solves two problems. Firstly, the video card will be cooled more effectively, since three standard 120 mm fans are installed directly behind it on the front panel.
Secondly, Lian Li SUP01X engineers experimented with the dimensions of the case, making it narrower and taller than most Midi Tower cases, but without sacrificing capacity and overall volume. The dimensions of the case are 534x212x403 mm, it supports the installation of video cards up to 400 mm long and power supplies up to 220 mm. The motherboard tray is compatible with the ATX format and more compact boards.
The case supports the installation of liquid cooling monoblocks up to 360/280 mm in size with a maximum pump height of 88.2 mm, as well as standard motherboards up to ATX format with a rear connection. The interior has two bays for 3.5" drives and two 2.5" bays, as well as seven expansion slots. Thanks to its modern design, good ventilation and advanced cooling capabilities, the SUP01X is ideal for assembling gaming systems with particularly powerful and hot video cards like the GeForce RTX 4080/4090 and Radeon RX 7800/7900 XT. The experimental design with support for vertical GPU installation will certainly appeal to enthusiasts and connoisseurs of customization.
