The wires are long, those for additional power are also separated (6 + 2 or 8) All in an iron braid, in short, I'm delighted). What is the button to disable or enable passive cooling. I didn't know about this at all. I measured the efficiency (output) in the load, it turned out 88% when applying 500 watts! It is not audible at all at low and medium loads, at high it is audible, but weakly. Doesn't overheat. I looked at the layout under the set, everything is very neatly done. I found a disassembled photo on the Internet, everything is on Japanese spare parts, almost all polymer capacitors. There is also a sense of heaviness. and something noble. I put it in the computer and I’m 100% sure that it will plow for more than one year. I hope my review will help someone decide, but I'm very pleased. The workmanship is top notch. The Focus Plus line continues the tradition of Seasonic's "golden" power supplies built on its own OEM platforms, offering flagship modular models with 80 Plus Gold certification, high-quality components and a number of interesting technical features. In fact, this is one of the best power supplies in the category under $150, which, in terms of overall performance, is very close to platinum models like the Seasonic PRIME Platinum.
According to the passport Sea Sonic Focus Plus Gold is a modular power supply, with a maximum power of 750 W, an impressive efficiency in the region of 90% and a quality certificate of 80+ Gold. If you disassemble the case, then inside we will see almost all the know-how of modern power supplies, including DC-converters with separate stabilization, Japanese capacitors, massive heatsinks on hot circuits and a 12-volt line with serious input indicators. And all this goodness is exclusively of our own design, since Seasonic is one of the innovators in this market and they always have something to offer.
For example, it uses the same FDB cooler that we saw in the company's "platinum" power supplies. This is a really quiet cooling system that does not disturb the acoustic comfort of the user even at loads under 90 – 95%. In passive mode, it does not make any sound at all. If for some reason the automation does not suit the user, he is free to change the operating modes of the turntables using a small button on the rear panel. Add an official 10-year warranty to this list and you have a very interesting power supply that makes buying a platinum-certified model in doubt.
