Makita MT M8700

The Makita M8700 rotary hammer is equipped with a reliable 710W electric motor, paired with a steel gearbox and a durable impact mechanism. It can be operated in 3 modes: slotting (demolition hammer mode), impact and conventional drilling. The basic operating mode is impact drilling. The generated impact energy (1.9 J) is sufficient to create holes up to 22 mm in diameter in durable concrete grades, load-bearing slabs and ceilings, natural / artificial stone, masonry and hard mineral materials.

The chiseling mode will help to make grooves (for example, for laying electrical wiring) in plaster or lightweight concrete. The rotation speed of the output shaft reaches 1100 rpm and it is quite enough for efficient drilling of holes in metal (up to 13 mm) and wood (up to 32/68 mm with a drill / crown). The disengaging clutch will prevent injury to the operator or breakage of the tool when the drill jams.
