We decided to choose an air conditioner together with my wife. I was responsible for the technical part, and she evaluated the design. In practice, the idea turned out to be "not very good" because my wife rejected many quite decent models with explanations like "boring", "clunky", "lacking a design highlight". This Midea model became a kind of compromise – I liked the features, and my wife was delighted with the silver body. The brand Midea MSV1-12HR initially didn't inspire confidence, but after searching online, I realized that it was the perfect combination of affordability and quality that I was looking for. Works for two rooms with a total area of 30 square meters. Cools very quickly. You can adjust the angle at which the cold air blows. Not noisy, but in complete silence, a quiet buzzing can be heard. Therefore, I turn on the special "night" mode at night. It's quieter, but the buzzing sound still remains. Got used to it in a week, it doesn't bother me anymore. The design is really interesting. The rather thin silver-black body looks interesting and a bit unusual. Nice price. Usually, for models with non-standard designs, manufacturers cruelly jack up the price, but here it is quite reasonable. The remote control does not work well. From one and a half to two meters everything works fine, but if you move further, problems begin. I thought it was the batteries, I replaced them with high-quality alkaline ones, but the problem remained. Ionization is not felt at all. Maybe I do not understand something, but it seems that it simply does not work. |
My wife really wanted the air conditioner to be not just a white angular rectangle, but look stylish and fit nicely into the interior. My task was to restrain her fantasies and prevent the family budget from being wasted on some expensive shiny and pretentious crap ))) So I got acquainted with the Vertu series of air conditioners from the Chinese brand Midea. Are you already funny? I also smiled at first, the Chinese love big names, yes. It's really cute and goes well with the greyish-shiny German wallpaper in the room. Even the remote was made stylish and similar to the phones of the same name. In this regard, the wife was satisfied. I was heartily happy with the moderate price of this unit. No complaints about work. Cools well, cool air disperses throughout the room. The direction where the chill blows is mono adjustable in two planes. True, this can be done from the remote control only for a vertical plane. Adjust the direction of flow horizontally by hand. In normal mode, a little noisy, but not critical. In a special "night" it is almost inaudible and does not interfere with sleep. In the autumn, until the central heating was turned on, they also used the heating mode. They were also satisfied. Easy to maintain and clean. Mesh filters are easy to clean. Manual adjustment of the horizontal direction of air flow. Agree, it’s not very convenient to climb onto a chair and manually adjust the blinds every time you need it. The remote could be Russified. За свои деньги - отличный выбор! Тихий внутренний блок - на малой скорости спать абсолютно не мешает. Диффузор вращается на 360 градусов. Ионизация. Неплохой дизайн в т.ч. и ПДУ Ионизация не включается автоматически при старте - нужно каждый раз при запуске вручную выбирать опцию.
