A family of gaming laptops of a fairly serious level, built on the basis of the AMD-Radeon platform. The idea of the Delta series is in many ways similar to the MSI Alpha and Bravo lines, with the difference that Alpha and Bravo usually use entry-level and mid-range AMD processors and video cards, while Delta, in turn, is more seriously equipped - a powerful Ryzen 7 processor is installed in the minimum configuration , at the maximum - the top Ryzen 9.
In both cases, the AMD Radeon RX 6700M discrete graphics card with 10 GB of video memory is responsible for processing three-dimensional graphics. In terms of performance, it successfully competes with the GeForce RTX 3070, although it does not support hardware ray tracing, and instead of DLSS, a slightly less accurate and free analogue is used in the face of AMD FSR technology.
The amount of RAM, as a rule, is 16 GB of DDR4 memory with an operating frequency of 3200 MHz. The amount of memory can be independently expanded up to 64 GB. Externally, the MSI Delta 15 A5EFK looks strict and ascetic, nothing but the acid-green backlight gives it a powerful gaming device. Even the MSI dragon logo is missing. The zest of the decor is given by the texture grid, located just above the keyboard.
The weight of the device is 1.9 kg with a case thickness of 19 mm. The maximum battery life is 12 hours, which is a very solid result for a 15-inch gaming laptop. Presets with different work settings help to save battery: in Extreme Performance mode, the laptop gives maximum FPS in games, but at the same time it is noticeably noisy and warms up. In Balanced mode, the heat is reduced, and the performance drops slightly, but it is much more convenient to play with a laptop. Well, the energy saving mode is useful for casual tasks (cinema, browsing, table design, etc.). All modifications of the MSI Delta 15 A5EFK are equipped with 15-inch Full HD screens based on decent quality IPS matrices with high contrast, beautiful colors (98% sRGB), increased refresh rate (240 Hz) and AMD FreeSync support.
