The build quality leaves much to be desired, and this is a top laptop from MSI. The paint on the parts is blotchy, as seen in the photos, and the touchpad is installed crookedly, tight against the body on one side, and you can slide a fingernail under the other. A separate story is the delivery from the KSE company, simply the bottom of the delivery market. As for the hardware, there are currently no complaints, except for the light bleed at the top of the display. I don't count the turbine noise as a minus; it's a gaming laptop. You have to be ready for it. And all this for a laptop priced at 188,000 rubles, MSI, how come? For that money, the product should be flawless!!! No complaints about the hardware so far, the keyboard is comfortable, but you have to get used to the font. The build quality leaves much to be desired, and this is a top laptop from MSI. The paint job has bald patches, as seen in the photo, the touchpad is installed crookedly, flush with the body on one side, and you can fit a fingernail on the other. There are glares on the upper part of the display. The body is swollen around the touchpad area. And all this for a laptop costing 188,000 RUB. MSI, how can this be; for this price, the product should be flawless!!! |
1) Gaming performance is top-notch, handles everything on ultra. For example, I completed Gears Of War 2-3 and Judgment at 80-120FPS. 2) Excellent color reproduction (compared to the previous ASUS, it's several times better, comparable to a home 25" Iiyama FHD 144Hz). 3) Unlocked BIOS, undervolting is there as well, or through ThrottleStop, with the possibility to "tweak" the RAM timings. 4) NVMe SSD M.2, though not the fastest among its peers, delivers 2-3MB/s, much faster than M.2 SATA SSD. 5) 280W power supply included. 6) Clean, without Windows. For me, it's a plus, I immediately installed Windows 11 Compact with all the junk removed, no problems. The price is 8-12 thousand less because of this, compared to the X version with Win10 included. 6) In terms of performance, it's now on par with a home desktop (Ryzen 5-3600/16GB Ballistix 3800O.C./PowerColor Red Devil 5700 8GB/monitor mentioned above/drives don't matter, 650W PSU). 7) True 140W on the graphics card. Don't be misled! You need to enable Discrete Mode in MSI Center or BIOS! Then you will see 141-143W at full load in RTSS. Everything was great. Very satisfied. I got it for watches, weighs about 4kg with PSU, can be carried in hand luggage (for this reason, didn't choose Clevo, after all, 7kg is not for backpacking across half the world). Before, I used to carry a PS3/PS4 or my previous budget laptop. Price in Russia:-( Yes, I am talking about the 20-30% VAT included in each item. In Germany, the price is about 130-135 thousand rubles. In the States, you can "grab" it on sale for 1400-1500$. |
[GP76 11UG-615RU] I'm amazed by the purchase every day! I'll start by saying that I spent a long time choosing a new battle/work partner to replace my 11-year-old (and still working) HP Pavilion DV7 6053-er laptop. I realized the market was "overheated" (prices) and genuinely "killer" options were scarce. Each time, I had to raise my budget. Finally, I raised it to 200K and combed through all the models with the necessary specifications (i7 11800h, RTX no lower than 3070, and definitely a 17.3" display) and found this device. The model is new, has immense power reserves (judging by the specifications), conveniently placed ports (main ones at the back), and an unbelievable display with fantastic colors. I bought it without hesitation. My expectations were exceeded, as under load (RDR2 ultra, Witcher ultra, etc.) there's still about 50% power reserve. Later, I can add an SSD (another TB) and possibly upgrade the RAM to 32 GB (though I currently have no idea why). As for temperatures, it maxes at around 80+- under full load (in the aforementioned games), and if it bothers you, by enabling the fan boost button, it drops to about 65+- within a few minutes. Yes, in this mode, it sounds like an airplane, but how else would it be? In normal modes, it's not annoying at all. In working with documents, surfing, it's silent. Ideal performance, sleek design, and exquisite display. for me, an insignificant downside is the smudge-prone body. I'm used to wiping down all the equipment, so I don't worry about it. ![]() |
