Suitable for shooting a wide variety of scenes, the focal length (35 mm) turns a fixed lens, sharpened for work in conjunction with Nikon full frames, into a universal solution for every day. The model is equally good in reportage, and in landscape shooting, and in the genre of street photography, and, with a certain skill, it will come in handy in portrait shooting. The high aperture of f/1.8 will effectively blur the background behind the main character in the frame.
The optical design of the Nikon 35mm f / 1.8G AF-S, consisting of 11 elements in 8 groups, is diluted with one ED glass and another aspherical lens. Their presence in the design provides a low level of chromatic aberration, and also minimizes the amount of glare and reflections. If the need arises, the lens can be equipped with a light filter, since the diameter of the front lens of the model is small and it will be possible to save money on buying filters with a 58 mm thread.
