Carrying a specialized ultraviolet detector with you is inconvenient, the dimensions are not mobile. And then I remembered about the lights with ultraviolet diodes. It performs the functions of a high-quality LED flashlight and, in combination, plays the role of a currency detector. He also knows how to highlight two small low-power RGB LEDs that can work in red, blue and green glow. Probably these color modes can be useful for hunting or fishing, but I used only red backlight. It was at night in the forest and I used red illumination in order to maintain the sensitivity of night vision (eyes get used to the dark for at least 10-15 minutes). The white diode has very good luminosity and gives an intense directional cold light with an intensity of up to 400 lumens (in turbo mode). Is it a lot or a little? If at night such a beam from a close distance gets into the eyes of a person, then he will still see a bright imprint of the reflector on his retina for about 30 minutes. A strong piece, to be sure. To prevent glare from occurring with frightening regularity, the flashlight can also operate in low brightness modes (high-medium-low-moonlight). The lower the brightness, the longer the flashlight will last one battery charge. In the average mode, a battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh lasts for 10-11 hours, no less. The ultraviolet LED is not as powerful, but it does not need to shine so much. Only a few seconds are enough to confirm the originality of banknotes, but a shaded room is needed. In sunlight or light shade, you can't see a damn thing. High price. Decent heating of the flashlight head when working in turbo mode. The low brightness of the ultraviolet LED, which allows you to check banknotes only in a darkened room. |
