I needed a water heater for a workshop. When working with clay, hot water is desirable, and after work it is much easier to wash off. At first I thought to hang a 50 liter boiler, but thought carefully and decided that 35 liters would be more than enough. Again, a smaller volume heats up much faster, so this has its own specific benefit. A good volume, which just suits my tasks. And then among European manufacturers it is difficult to find a 35 liter model. Their tanks are most often 50 or 15 liters, but 15 is too little, and 50 is already too much. The heating element for such a volume is quite powerful. He warms up these 35 liters to 60-65 degrees in just an hour with a penny. I will add that the heating element here is not a simple steel one, as in other models, but with a copper sheath, which does not corrode in water and conducts heat perfectly. If we talk about corrosion protection, then we must also remember the steel tank, reliably protected by two methods: enameling and electrochemical protective protection (magnesium anode). So the seven-year manufacturer's warranty on the tank is not empty words. The water temperature can be adjusted by changing the thermostat settings. And to control the temperature, there is a simple and very approximate mechanical thermometer. domestic manufacturer. It may not matter, but it seems right to me that my money will remain in the country and one of them will receive a salary, they will buy domestic metal, etc. Noisy when heated. It didn't happen for the first couple of months, but now the tank makes a sound similar to the sound of an electric kettle warming up. It seems that the reason is the scale deposits that appear on the heating element over time. Well, at least the sound is not loud. |
